Buhari gave this assurance in his speech during the 70th United Nations' General Assembly, held at the U.N Headquaters in New York, on Monday, September 28th. Chief among issues raised by the Nigerian president is on how to curb corruption in Nigeria, and securing the release of the kidnapped Chibok girls.
President Buhari reiterated that major goals of his administration remains rescuing the kidnapped school girls, dismantling "safe havens for proceeds of corruption, ensuring return of stolen funds, and countering ISIL and violent extremism.
