Fire aftermath- NFF may be probed!

Following the fire that engulfed the secretariat of the NFF on Wednesday, information revealed there are strong indications that the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) may bounce on the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) any time from now, as the Sports Ministry has asked the Commission to probe the mountain of corruption allegations leveled against the football federation.
A top government source hinted on Thursday that the government has asked the Commission to probe the football financial dealings over sometime and wondered why the EFCC has not acted.
"I am surprised that the EFCC has not commenced investigation of the NFF. May be the action has been stopped," the source said.
It was alledged that the government is baffled at the fire that razed the secretariat, but is yet to make its position known.
Efforts to confirm the veracity of the government letter proved abortive as the EFCC Spokesman, Wilson Uwajurien denied knowledge of such letter to the commission.
