Early Morning Blast Leaves Scores Of Students And Teachers Dead At Potiskum, Yobe State!

Scores were reportedly killed on Monday after an explosion ripped through a school in Potiskum, Yobe state, northeast  Nigeria as students gathered for morning assembly.

Accounts of the incident given by eye witnesses revealed that blast happened at the Government Comprehensive Senior Science Secondary School in Potiskum, the commercial town of Yobe state, at about 7:45am (0650GMT).

The reports says students and teachers gathered for the morning assembly when a bomber disguised as a student of the school entered the assembly hall with the students and triggered the explosive devices killing several students

Yobe State Commissioner of Police, Markus Danladi, who reportedly confirmed the bomb blast, said that he was on his way to the scene of the incident as he had no details. 
There is no official death toll, but 13 bodies were reportedly taken to hospital with more than 30 others left "with various degrees of injuries".
