Kim Kardashian Nets $500,000 After 45-minute Appearance In Nigeria

Reality TV show star Kim Kardashian is presently being criticised left, right and centre for her 'flash' visit to Nigeria after being reportedly paid 500,000 dollars.

Kim had been invited to co-host the highly publicised Valentine show 'Love like a movie' by R&B king Darey Art Alade but Kim after some minutes on the red carpet and then the pre-event dinner with several high rated guests, reportedly appeared only for 45 seconds to speak to the cheering crowd before disappearing!

She practically slurred "Hey Naiiija" and vamoosed!

Tickets for the show had gone for N100, 000 with more than half of the guests buying because they wanted to enjoy an evening with Kim. They did enjoy it eventually... in a snap!
The media particularly is wagging but Kim seem oblivious to the criticisms. She was later pictured arriving in Los Angeles, looking tired in a white shirt and black trousers. Her smile for the cameras, could only mean she's happy to be home.
Shortly after arriving, the 32-year-old tweeted: 'Just landed back home! 20 hrs of flying. No big deal.'

I Died, Resurrected After Seven Days - First Lady

Nigeria:

Nigeria's first lady Dame Patience Jonathan yesterday stunned the entire congregation at the Aso Villa Chapel with a revelation that she actually died and resurrected after seven days, during her eight-week sojourn in a German hospital last year.
Dame Jonathan's confession is a sharp contrast to her statement at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, when she was received on October 7, 2012, by a crowd of well wishers on her return to the country after several weeks of absence.
She had strongly refuted stories in the media claiming she had been undergoing treatment for food poisoning, with some reports even claiming she had died. She had attributed the stories to mischief-makers and those who bore her ill-will.
The first lady had told reporters on arrival at the airport: "I did not have a terminal illness or cosmetic surgery.I thank God Almighty for bringing me back... God has a plan for all of us."

But speaking yesterday at the thanksgiving service held to mark her survival, Dame Patience likened her experience to that of the biblical Lazarus, disclosing that her tummy was burst open, a situation which led her to undergo nine surgical operations within a period of one month. Unlike most people who dread surgical operation, she started begging for it after the third one, she said.
She further stated that some of her associates whom she trusted and relied heavily on leaked the information that she was dead, adding that some of the traitors even started selling off her belongings in the belief that would never return to the country alive.
She said: "It was not an easy experience for me. I actually died -- I passed out for more than a week. My intestine and tummy were opened. I am not Lazarus but my experience was similar to his. My doctors said all hope was lost. A black doctor in London who is with us in this service was flown in when the situation became critical. It was God himself in His infinite mercy that said I would return to Nigeria. God woke me up after seven days.
"I know that some people somehow leaked the information that I was dead. They are people that I trusted and relied on; to them, I was dead and I would never return to the country alive. Some of them even sold my things off

“The policemen requested to know the content of the polythene bag and all of a sudden, one of the men ran away.

This aroused the policemen’s suspicion, as they insisted on knowing what was inside the bag. When the bag was opened, fresh human parts and two plastic bottles filled with blood were recovered from the bag.
“They also found five fingers, human heart, liver, kidney and intestines, all concealed inside a bowl filled with water.
“The different parts were tied in separate polythene bags and were all put inside the bag.”
Olaide claimed that his partner, who bolted after policemen stopped them, was the owner of the items.
He further claimed that he didn’t even know the contents of the bag until he was arrested.
Olaide told the police that he and the fleeing friend slept in a church the previous night.
He confessed to be coming from a white garment church located in Egbe area of the state when they were accosted.
DailyPost gathered that the policemen immediately rushed down to the church and arrested the prophet.
While confirming the arrest, Deputy police spokesman in Lagos State, Damascus Ozoani, said; “Olaide later confessed that they had been keeping the human parts in a white garment church in Egbe area and led the policemen to the church.
“The pastor was arrested and the two suspects have been transferred to the
State Criminal investigation Department in Yaba.” Ozoani had disclosed.
