Abuja Club Where Members Pay N100,000 Fine For Adultery

 

In Abuja, adultery among men is actionable and dear. Men that belong to a social circle in the city are now more wary than ever about adultery because their circle criminalises the act and whoever commits, is liable to a fine of N100,000. The meaning is that if you don’t want to incur their wrath or can ill afford N100,000 to drop for the act, please, do stay afar.

The Aso Country Club is out to re-invent stronger and more peaceful family ties among the members, therefore it has defined punishment for adulterers. But you may ask how they arrive at conviction for any accused before the one should be found guilty as to pay the fine?

They agree that adultery is a big menace to marriages, therefore, a way to take away the threat to family is by clamping down on guilty members with the N100,000 fine. It might surprise you that majority of the members of the club are middle-aged men and even men with very young families.



But they are resolute on waging a fierce war against the biggest threat to marriages, launching in a commando fashion, an operation to restore sanity and family ideals.

The pioneer chairman of the club, Chidiebere Ogbaji Ferguson told Abuja Metro that the campaign to checkmate adultery, the greatest attack on families, from spreading like wild fire, wrecking havoc and crumbling many marriages, is the motive behind forming the club and its resolution of N100,000 fine.

The club after its maiden investiture vowed to wrestle the menace of adultery to submission. He said: “We have read about so many divorce cases in FCT. Many close-knit families in the past are today operated by single parents.

We discovered that the social factor of this city is influencing not only marriages but also families. We decided to use the club to sustain marriages, deep relationship among people that found themselves under the same roof as spouses.

“We formed the club to advance deep interpersonal relationship among us, promote good and healthy lifestyle, realize our roles as husbands and heads of our families. Ferguson, the CEO of Home Mall noted that: “We have stood stoutly, with our rules and regulations, against any member going the wrong way, abandoning his family and allowing adultery to tear his marriage apart.

As I speak to you, two to three persons have paid N100,000 fine each while others have decided not to throw away such amount of money by involving themselves in any proven case of adultery that threatens their marriages.

ASHLEY GREENE West Hollywood Condo UP IN FLAMES!

A firefighter tells us ... Ashley, her boyfriend and her brother were out late last night and were sleeping when the fire broke out on the living room sofa.  They ran out of the apartment, and then realized the dogs were still there.  The 2 men tried to get back in to rescue them but couldn't.  We're told Ashley wanted to keep the dog that died, so firefighters wrapped it in a sheet and gave it either to Ashley or one of the 2 guys.



11:50 AM PT -- A firefighter and a neighbor on scene just told TMZ ... one of the dogs died at the scene ... under the bed.  We have been told a second dog is expected to be taken to Animal Control ... to be checked out. And, we're told several other residents tried to fight the blaze with fire extinguishers.  They were covered in soot.


11:15 AM PT -- Residents in the building who live near Ashley tell TMZ ... Ashley's brother and assistant had been going in and out of the condo all morning.  One resident says she heard glass exploding in Ashley's condo.  The woman says Ashley's toy fox terriers were inside the unit.   As we reported, one dog was definitely saved.

"Twilight" star Ashley Greene's home has been burnt to a crisp ... after a fire ripped through her West Hollywood condo, TMZ has learned ... but luckily, one of her dogs was saved.  We know Ashley has 2 dogs, and we don't know the status of the second.

Marlo is a girl and Theo is a boy ... we're not sure which died.

At least 10 fire trucks swarmed to the 7-story building to extinguish the blaze. The full extent of the damage is unclear ... but a photo agency has released shots of the aftermath inside the apartment.




We don't know if Ashley was home at the time.  One fireman told TMZ ... the fire started on a sofa.

Three people were treated for minor injuries.


It was learnt a candle was responsible for the fire

Lindsay Lohan continues to drink -- and drink often -- despite being sentenced this week to 90 days of lockdown rehab.

Sources close to Lindsay says she was at the bar of her hotel in Beverly Hills just hours after her court hearing on Monday ... knocking back vodka sodas. We're told Lindsay did not seem fazed by the irony of the situation.

It goes on --" we're told Lindsay went to a club in San Diego called FLUXX last night with a friend, arriving after midnight. Our spies say LiLo was wearing a Yankees cap and a hooded sweatshirt and sat at a VIP table ordering vodka on the rocks all night. 

We're told Lindsay specifically request that vodka be served from a glass carafe ... this way the table would not have any alcohol bottles on it".

Sources close to Lindsay tell us she is adamant she does not have a substance abuse problem and doesn't feel she needs professional help.
