Jealous boyfriend set 2 female ‘corpers’ ablaze in Rivers!

Two female National Youth Service Corps members, Amarachi Okey Winifred, a Batch C corps member and her friend, a fresh batch B corps member who recently left camp, were recently burnt beyond recognition by one of the victim’s boyfriend last month.

The victims, both serving  in Community Secondary school Iddo in Asari-Toru LGA of Rivers State, were said to be locked in after he had poured fuel and then set the room on fire.
The incident was first reported on July 19, but the name of the other corps member could not be ascertained at the time of the report. The attackers were initially thought to be some community boys and students in their place of primary assignment (ppa) but the story turned out to be different.
Reports say:

It turned out that Winifred was burned by her boyfriend because he felt she was cheating on him with a fellow corps member. A corper who stayed in the same hostel with Winnie in camp related the events.
“He thought she would be the only one in the room, he locked the door from outside, put petrol and lit the fire. Unfortunately, a friend of Winifred was also in the room. She’s a Batch B corps member who just left camp some weeks ago. But, unfortunately for the boyfriend, he burnt his hands in the process. That was how he was identified and caught.”
“In camp she was always scared whenever he called and she missed it and all.”
After the incident, the victims were both taken to the Intensive care unit (ICU) of UNIPORT Teaching Hospital due to the critical nature of the burns. The victims did not survive the burns. Winifred died on the morning of July 31. The perpetrator however, has since been caught by the police.

Chris Brown threatens to retire from making music!

Chris Brown told his Twitter followers that he is retiring from making music after his sixth studio album X comes out later this month.

 

In a series of cryptic tweets, the 24-year-old seemed to suggest that his desire to quit his career as a singer and performer stemmed from his tumultuous relationship with Rihanna.

 

 




The recording artist said on Tuesday that he was 'tired of being famous for a mistake' he made when he was 18, referencing the assault charges filed against him by on-off girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

 

Brown's five-year probation for the RIhanna assault was revoked by a Los Angeles Court after an alleged hit-and-run in May, bringing his troubled past back into the limelight.
During his Twitter rant on Tuesday, he wrote: 'Don't worry mainstream America. After this X album, it'll probably be my last album.'

And then in what appeared to be an overt reference to the Rihanna assault he tweeted: 'Being famous is amazing when it's for ur music and talent. I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I'm cool & over it!'

In 2009 Brown's music was pulled from many radio playlists, in an unofficial ban, due to his criminal charges.
The singer's current legal troubles stem from his hit-and-run incident, where he failed to hand over his driver's license and insurance information following a traffic accident.

The Los Angeles District Court said that Brown violated the terms of his probation after he allegedly left the scene of the accident after rear-ending a woman's Mercedes-Benz in May.
A Los Angeles judge revoked probation for Chris Brown stemming from his 2009 assault of then-girfriend Rihanna, the terms of which requires him to stay out of trouble and follow the law.

The next court hearing for the hit-and-run is set for Aug. 15, and he will also have to show up to court for a separate probation hearing, according to Gossip Cop.
Meanwhile, Brown's apparently final studio album X hits stores on August 20.

Khloe Kardashian's marriage rocked by new infidelity claims as lawyer alleges she had 'six-week summer affair' with Lamar Odom!

They were just rebuilding their marriage following claims that he had been unfaithful with stripper Jennifer Richardson.

 

And now Lamar Odom has been hit with fresh infidelity claims, as Star Magazine claim to have proof that the professional basketball player cheated on wife Khloe Kardashian with lawyer Polina Polonsky.



The website also claims that Polina passed a lie detector (polygraph) test to prove she is telling the truth.

According to America's Star magazine, Lamar and Polina first met at Los Angeles' Roosevelt Hotel on June 2nd, where the sportsman had been staying for a week amid marital difficulties with Khloe.

Polina said: 'I was under the impression that he had left Khloe, and that’s why he was living at the Roosevelt. He acted completely available and we definitely had a mutual attraction.'

Brunette Polina, who claims to have had a six-week long affair with Lamar, claims she had her first kiss with him on June 9th, before consummating their romance on June 13th at her apartment.

She said: 'After we had sex, Lamar stayed the night with me. The next day we went back to the Roosevelt. I stayed there with him for the next couple of nights.'

Polina then claims that Lamar was so infuriated by his wife's behaviour that, on June 22nd, he temporarily moved into her apartment, where he stayed until July 8th.
However, Khloe is said to have then found out where Polina lived, enlisting the help of momager Kris once again to confront her spouse. 

But Polina said: 'I couldn’t believe they found where I lived and came to my apartment! They were knocking on the door, but Lamar refused to answer.'

This is not the first time that Lamar has been accused of cheating on Khloe.

It was previously claimed that Lamar has been cheating on Khloe with 29-year-old brunette, Jennifer Richardson, after meeting in a Washington, D.C strip club a year ago. 

Although it was initially claimed that Khloe had kicked the NBA star out of their home, a source close to the reality star later told MailOnline: 'They're more in love than ever. Khloe did not kick Lamar out of the house, they are 100 per cent fine.'

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Khloe and Lamar for comment on the latest claims.

New reports suggest that the couple, who just welcomed their daughter North West into the world in June, currently have a 'wedding in the works' and the 36-year-old singer is planning something 'big'.

'He wants something really cool and big and over-the-top,' a source told US Weekly. 'They'll most likely have a destination wedding.'

'Kanye has never been married before and wants a big wedding,' the insider added. 'So Kim is getting used to the idea again.'
 
However, a large wedding is difficult to keep underwraps, and for one of the most photographed couples in the world, impossible to keep out of the press.
But friends say Kanye, who has been adamant that the press-hungry Kardashian clan keep their new baby daughter North West out of the spotlight, wants the same for his wedding.
'It will not be televised,' a friend of the rapper told the magazine.

As well as privacy, Kanye is keen on making the event as chic and fashion forward as possible.
The rapper, who has strong ties to the fashion industry, is said to be turning to many of his designer pals to ensure it is a stylish affair.
'It won't be cheesy,' a source says. 'There will be a real sense of design.'

The Heartless star is also reportedly designing Kim's engagement ring all by himself.
'Kanye is very interested in design and decor,' the insider added. 'He will want to be involved in all of that.' 

Friends of the notoriously grumpy rapper say that baby North West's arrival has made him a changed man.

Whilst he was mostly absent during Kim's pregnancy, spending a considerable amount of time in France ahead of North's arrival, pals say things have now changed signinficantly in Kim and Kanye's relationship.

'The baby has solidified their relationship,' a friend of Kim's told Us Weekly.
'They're doing really well. He (Kanye) has matured and grown a lot very quickly. He seems as lot more at peace. It's cool to see him so happy and calmed down. He's a natural father.' 

Meanwhile Kim, who has yet to step out in public since the birth of her daughter, is continuing to work hard at her post-pregnancy figure.

Kim has reportedly lost 25 pounds so far by sticking to healthy eating plan and a twice-daily workout regime.
Meanwhile, Kanye is reportedly planning a promotional tour to promote his new album, but the couple's wedding is not far from his mind.
Friends of the star say he has been dreaming of marrying Kim ever since he met her.
'He has told his friends and family that he was going to wife her since the day they met,' a friend of the rapper told Us Weekly. 'And he is determined to do it.'

In full hair and make-up (of course), the new mother filmed herself playfully sticking her tongue out before lovingly smiling at the camera.
Kim made her first post-pregnancy appearance in a brief video for her mother Kris Jenner's daytime chat show earlier this month.

In the pre-taped segment, she surprised the matriarch with a short message, saying: 'Hey mom, I just wanted to say congratulations on your new show. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there in person, but I’m just loving life a little bit too much at home right now.'

'But I watch you every single day and you are so amazing. You really are born to do this. I just want to say I love you and have an amazing show.'
Just as she did in the Keek clip, Kim looked happy and healthy for her public announcement.

Yet the last time she was seen in public was on June 12, donning an olive green dress.

Brazil boy, 13, kills family members, then himself!

A 13-year-old Brazilian boy killed his police officer parents, his grandmother and his great-aunt before spending a full day at school and then taking his own life, police have revealed.
 
 
The five bodies were found before dawn on Tuesday inside two houses located on the same property in northern Sao Paulo, they said.
"Everything seems to indicate that Marcelo (Pesseghini) killed his parents and relatives," Itagiba Franco, of the Sao Paulo Civilian Police's homicide department, told a press conference.

Police said the teen's parents were killed late Sunday or in the early hours of Monday. Forensic examinations are under way.
Franco said Pesseghini had told a friend he wanted to kill his parents and become a hitman.

"He always told me he wanted to become a hired killer. He had a plan to kill his parents during the night, so that no one would notice and escape in the parents' car and live in an abandoned place," police quoted the unidentified friend as saying.

 

The teen died from a shot to the left temple and his father's police-issue service revolver was found nearby, Sao Paulo police commander Benedito Roberto Meira said earlier.

A second gun, a .32 caliber revolver, was found inside the backpack the teenager took to school on Monday, Meira added, saying "there was no sign that someone broke into the house".

The police commander ruled out "an act of revenge by a criminal group" against the teenager's father and mother.

On December 21st last year Marcelo Pesseghini posted a picture connected with the Amityville murders in New York onto his Facebook page.
The chilling similarities between the Sao Paulo killings and the Amityville murders suggest the teenager was directly inspired by the infamous 1974 case.

 

On November 13, 1974, 23-year-old Ronald DeFeo Jr used a Marlin 336c rifle to shoot dead his parents Ronald and Louise as well as his brothers Marc, 12, and John Matthew, 9, and sisters Dawn, 18, and  Allison 13.
All were shot in bed. DeFeo was found guilty on six counts of second-degree murder, and is currently imprisoned at Green Haven Correctional Facility in Beekman.
In Sao Paulo all the victims were close family members living in the same home and all were shot in bed with the exception of the mother Andreia Pesseghini who was found on her knees in the bedroom.
Following the Amityville killings stories circulated that the house was haunted. The family who moved into the property reported 'paranormal activities' and fled - their experience inspired books and a 1979 movie.
In December last year, Marcelo Pesseghini posted a famous picture known as the Amityville 'Ghost Boy' which emerged in 1976 and purports to show the ghost of the youngest of the DeFeo children.

Female youth corper attacked by suspected cultists in Bayelsa!

A 26-year-old National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, member serving in Bayelsa State, Miss Folakemi Akinbode, is now struggling for her life at the Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital, Okolobiri, following a brutal attack from suspected cultists.



The incident occurred, Monday, at about 8.30pm at Obunagha community in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of the state.

Miss Akinbode, an indigene of Ondo State, a graduate Nurse of the Madonna University serving at NDU Teaching Hospital was returning from work when she was ambushed by two suspected cultists along a lonely bush path leading to the corpers’ lodge where she resides.

Her right hand was almost chopped off by her assailants who are now at large.
It was learnt that but for the hand she raised to defend herself the attackers could have killed her as the machete was aimed at her head.
The victim was said to have ran to the lodge with her injuries shouting “help, help, help…” after which she collapsed and lost consciousness due to excessive bleeding from the almost severed hand.

A source said “though she had been given three pints of blood, she is yet to regain consciousness.”

Troubled by the development, the traditional ruler of the community, Chief Apoh Godgive, the Ibolou XI, was said to have ordered the immediate setting up of vigilante group  in the community with a view to fishing out the perpetrators of the crime.

Contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer,  DSP Alex Akhigbe, confirmed the incident, saying the command has launched manhunt for the fleeing attackers.
