LAMIDO NEVER TOLD PRESIDENT JONATHAN OF $250 MILLION BRIBE ALLEGEDLY COLLECTED BY MINISTER- Reuben Abati!

Following allegations by the Governor of Jigawa state, Alhaji Sule Lamido, that President Goodluck Jonathan refused to act on information that a serving minister recently collected bribe from an oil company, the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Reuben Ababti released a statment on friday, 15th November, 2013 to debunk the claim.

Released Statement below:

"We have noted with much regret, the grossly irresponsible, false and mischievous claim by the Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido that President Goodluck Jonathan has refused to act on information that a serving minister recently collected a bribe of $250 million from an oil company.
The Presidency views the patently bogus allegation reportedly made by the Governor in a radio interview yesterday as an unacceptable and callous attempt to unjustly impugn the integrity of President Jonathan and cast aspersions on the seriousness of his Administration’s efforts to curb corruption.
The allegation and the claim by Alhaji Lamido that he informed President Jonathan of the acceptance of the huge bribe by an unnamed minister is absolutely without any foundation in fact or reality because no such communication has ever taken place between them.
We abhor Governor Lamido’s descent to the unscrupulous, reckless and thoughtless peddling of arrant falsehood in a puerile effort to score cheap political points against President Jonathan for personal and sectional political gains.
If, as he claims, Alhaji Lamido has credible information about a minister receiving the said amount as bribe, he should publicly name the minister involved without  delay and provide evidence to support his allegation.
In the event that he is unable to do so, he should be prepared to offer an unreserved apology to the President and Nigerians for his unwarranted and unjust effort to denigrate, disparage and malign the President and the Federal Government.
While the Jonathan Presidency will continue to make corrupt public officials answerable for their actions, it will not succumb to harassment and blackmail by self-seeking politicians jostling for personal advantage".

Couple filmed 'having sex' through window as bystanders watch in street!

This bizarre video shows a couple being filmed apparently having sex as bystanders look on from the street.
The person filming the scene begins to giggle as they approach the house from across the road in broad daylight.
An outline of what appears to be a couple having sex can be seen through misted glass on the upper floor of a house.
Another man can also be seen filming the scene.
A group of around three people can be heard discussing what they are seeing in the background while continuing to giggle.

Nah waooooo!

Man marries TREE to raise awareness of environmental concerns!

An alleged obsessed environmentalist married a tree in Peru.

And the day came complete with a ring, an audience, a bouquet and a toast.

Richard Torres organised the alternative ceremony to raise awareness of environmental issues in Argentina.
Looking startlingly like actor Johnny Depp, Mr Torres dressed up for the occasion in a crisp white suit, bright blue bowler hat and comical glasses.
Crowds collected at the park in the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aries on Sunday, according to KXAN.
The Peruvian activist read vows and was given a ring. He even gave the tree a few kisses to keep the ceremony authentic.
And in keeping with tradition, Mr Torres threw the bouquet into the delighted crowd, where it was caught by a happy-looking man in chequered blue shirt.
The whole spectacle came to a close with a toast.

Meet the husband, wife and lover living under the SAME roof!

When mum-of-two Maria Butzki left her husband Paul for another man, she didn’t realise how much she’d miss him. At the same time, she couldn’t imagine living without her new lover Peter Gruman. So when the two men struck up an extraordinary friendship, she came up with the perfect solution... and moved Peter into the family home in Barking, East London.
Loved up: Paul, left, Maria and Peter
Now Maria, 33, Paul, 37, their two children, Laura, 16, and Amy, 12, and Peter, 36, live as one big happy family.
People might think it’s weird but I love both men and couldn’t choose between them,” says Maria, a housing liaison officer.
When I left Paul there was a huge hole in my life. But the thought of never seeing Peter again was heartbreaking. So living with both men is the only way.”
Incredibly, the men agree. Paul, a railway assessor, says: “Peter is a great guy. When Maria first had the affair with him I was just heartbroken. But as I got to know him, I realised we have so much in common. We both adore fishing, and he’s like a surrogate dad to the kids.”

Peter, a construction site manager, adds: “We all get on so well. It doesn’t feel as if I’m sharing Maria. There’s no jealousy ...it feels as if we area team.
It was last year that they all moved in together after three years of Maria to-ing and fro-ing between her husband and lover.
Peter sleeps on the sofa while Paul has a room upstairs. Maria shares a bedroom with her eldest daughter.
She says: “The three of us never share a bed. Although I have a sexual relationship with each man, that side is kept very private. If Paul is out, then Peter and I might make love, and vice-versa. But both men turn a blind eye and we never discuss it with one another.”
Maria was 15 when she and Paul met at school. After dating for two years, she unexpectedly became pregnant. Paul proposed seven months into her term and a month later they married. Four years after the birth of Laura, Maria had their second daughter Amy. But in 2006 their marriage hit a rocky patch.

Maria says: “Paul was out of work for six months and it put a strain on our relationship. The stress led to less sex and we grew apart. Although we carried on with life – cooking, cleaning, looking after the children – we’d lost our intimacy. The relationship was more brother and sister than a couple.”
Around the same time a new manager, Peter, started at Maria’s workplace.
Someone introduced me to Peter and when we smiled at one another, I could feel the chemistry straight away,” she says. “Until that moment, I’d been happily married for 13 years to my childhood sweetheart and had never thought about being with another man.”
Peter, who was also married at the time, recalls the same instant attraction. “It was like a bolt from the blue... love at first sight,” he says.
Soon the pair were meeting secretly. “We’d meet at the local pub for lunch,” says Maria. “One day he put a hand on my leg and my whole body began trembling with desire. I knew it was wrong but soon we were sleeping together.”
Their affair carried on for a year before Paul stumbled on messages between them on Maria’s phone. She managed to convince him they were just friends. But a few months later her lover left his wife and moved from Luton, Beds, to be closer to Maria in Barking.
I grew even closer to Peter,” says Maria. “Paul had to go away on business for a few weeks and so Peter took the children shopping, spoiling them rotten with gifts.”
But on Valentine’s Day in 2010, Maria says she could no longer cope with the secrecy. “I began to feel more and more that my future lay with Peter,” she says. “So I confessed my affair to Paul, and moved out to stay with Peter.”
Paul and the children were devastated. He says: “I was just shocked and heartbroken. I couldn’t believe Maria had left me.”
Over the next few months Paul and Maria took turns to have the children. “I felt bad about tearing the family apart,” says Maria. “So after work I’d go and clean and cook for Paul and the kids and then go home to Peter.”
Paul says: “While I was so upset, I decided to try to put the children first. It was going to be much better if we could all be mature adults and be amicable about it. I could see Peter was a decent guy. When the kids went to stay over I knew he was putting himself out to make sure they were happy. I’d go to pick them up and we got chatting.”
Over the next year their relationship became even more amicable. Maria says: “Rather than cook two separate dinners, it was easier to just do one and all sit down together. Paul and Peter got on so well they went on a fishing trip together. We even started going on days out and holidays together.
Maria Butzki with her family
“It was strange but I noticed I felt at my happiest when we were all together. The children adored having both of them around too.”
Then in November 2012 the tenancy on Peter’s rented flat came to an end. He went to stay with a friend and Maria moved back to the family home. Maria says: “It was supposed to be a temporary arrangement but while I missed Peter terribly, it was fantastic to be back as a family.”
When Peter found another flat, Maria decided it was time to sit both men down and be honest with them. “I said I loved them both,” she says. “I said I couldn’t face living without either of them.”
To her delight, both men said they understood.
Peter says: “By now Paul and I had developed a huge respect for each other. We didn’t see one another as rivals for Maria’s affections. We were friends who got on well. At the same time I’d come to care so much for the children. It seemed natural to live together.
Paul says: “Maria was and still is my soulmate.”
The “family” are now in the process of buying a larger house to accommodate them all.
Maria admits many friends and family find the arrangement difficult to understand.

Some people are shocked, mostly because they get the wrong idea and think it’s some sort of threesome,” she says. “Most people seem to think I should just remain with Paul, but those who see all of us together think differently.” She adds: “There are huge benefits to living together. For example, as Paul and I leave for work early, Peter is often able to take the children to school.
“Ultimately the children benefit from three adults able to help with school work or give them lifts. Financially too, it makes sense as the bills are split three ways.”
Fishing Pals Peter Gruman and Paul Butzki
Ironically, Maria is now the one who sometimes gets jealous. “I’m left on my own when the pair of them go on a long fishing trip,” she says.
She’s unsure what the sleeping arrangements will be in their new house. “But we would never have any sort of rota where I sleep with Peter one night and Paul the next. I do know I’m very lucky to have two wonderful men in my life.”

Taxi driver attack in Manchester

Muhammed Arshad, 48, was rushed to hospital in an ambulance after the attack by the men as he finished his shift on Sunday afternoon, November 10, 2013.
The men were still outside the taxi office, 10 minutes after being refused service, in Bloom Street in Manchester city centre.
Mr Arshad was punched by one of the men outside the door and dragged across the street to a car park in Sackville Street.
One of the men then threw a metal barrier which hit Mr Arshad in the face while several members of the taxi firm staff tried to defend him.
He was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary with injuries to his face including a puncture wound to his right cheek, a cut above his left eye and severe bruising to his left.
Mr Arshad was too shaken to talk about his ordeal.
However, Les Gunn from taxi firm Manchester Cars told the Manchester Evening News: “This nasty and unprovoked assault goes to show that it’s not only private hire taxi drivers that can be at risk.
“This time the victim was one of our managers as he finished work.
“We are horrified at what happened, but are also thankful, as this could have been so much worse.
“Our senior management team were made aware straight away and have made sure that Muhammed has all the support he needs and wish him a speedy recovery from his injuries.”
The men ran off towards Princess Street after the incident and were later seen near Abingdon Street.
One was skinny and the other well built and muscular. Both had Manchester accents.
Manchester Cars is one of the city’s biggest private hire operators and has 300 drivers.
The incident happened just before 3pm on Sunday.

Anambra election, Jega promises creditably!

Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor

Attahiru Jega, yesterday, declared that Saturday’s governorship election in

Anambra State would be the best election so far in the country.

Speaking during a stakeholders’ forum at the Women Development Centre,

Awka, Jega said the commission had made adequate preparation to ensure a

credible, free and fair election.

However, he appealed to political parties and their candidates to cooperate

with the commission to actualise the goal, as INEC would give all the parties

and candidates a level playing ground.

He said INEC had corrected the errors in the controversial voters’ registers

earlier given to political parties, adding that the mistakes were computer

errors.

Presenting the corrected copies of the voters’ register to political parties, Jega

asked them to carefully study them and raise objections where necessary

before the election.

We are transparent and we will continue to be transparent and fair to all the

parties. We are human beings and we can make mistakes and correct them.

We have concluded the training of our staff, we have introduced security

features to protect our ballot papers and ballot boxes for every polling unit

with a unique code number for each unit so that you can not take a ballot

paper from one unit to another,” he said.

On multiple registration, the INEC boss said that the commission had already

arrested some defaulters and were concluding arrangements to prosecute

them and warned voters in the state who had double registration not to go to

the polling units on Saturday as security agents had been directed to arrest

any offender.

Jega warned that there would be no movement of government officials in the

name of monitoring the election, adding that party agents must wear INEC

tags to enable them enter and stay at the polling boots assigned to them.

Equally, he advised governorship candidates against going to the polling

booths to vote with their armed aides, noting that it had caused violence in

the past.
