Why I initially denied my son’s paternity – Ice Prince!

In March 2012, News went round that Ice prince had fathered a child with a 20 years old Bimbo – who was reported to be Jesse Jagz ex-girlfriend – but the Jos-born-singer Ice Prince denied being responsible.
Months later, the same baby he denied became his treasure, the rapper now flaunts the boy all the time.
In a recent interview with Showbizplus, Ice Prince explained why he initially denied his baby.
  • How has fatherhood changed you?
It has taught me to save my money. It is a huge difference and a huge change in lifestyle. You become more matured.
  •  You initially denied having a baby?
It was complicated back then, I didn’t really know what was happening and I wasn’t sure of certain things. So the best I had to do then was denying it and sort out things first. Now I know he is my child and I have done everything as a father ever since.
  •  What is the relationship like with his mother?
I speak with her often and it is usually about the baby. That is all for now.
  •  Have you started thinking about marriage?
No, I’m fully focused on my music.

Why Gov. Oshiomhole told the widow to “go and die”!

Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo is in the eye of the storm following his shabby treatment of a widow which was filmed and has been spread over the internet.
Oshiomhole caught on tape lashing out at a crying widow
The governor is seen in the video telling the obviously distressed woman to “go and die.”
According to widespread reports, the woman was selling wares in a prohibited area, by a busy roadside and it was this act that attracted the anger of the governor.
Governor Oshiomhole was leading a task force which was responsible for dealing with such offenders. The governor has intensified efforts to rid the state of roadside hawkers, much like his Lagos counterpart, Babatunde Fashola.
The crackdown on the hawkers has spread nationwide with many states outlawing the practice and linking it to accidents and the piling up of refuse on roads and in drainages.
The video showed Governor Adams Oshiomhole ostensibly leading officials of the state to sanitize the city of Benin, the Edo State capital.
In the course of his tour of duty, he came across a roadside hawker. The poor widow knelt before the imperial governor, a former labour leader, begging for her little means of livelihood to be saved.
In what could be regarded as the most unkind cut of all, the governor said the widowed woman should “go and die”!
Afterwards he stood for some seconds looking indifferently on how the officials took the women’s belongings away, and he left the scene of the drama.

Oduah’s armoured cars ‘ll buy 51 patrol vehicles- Gov. Fashola!

Lagos State governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola, has said that the two armoured
cars bought at the cost of N255 million for the Minister of Aviation, Mrs. Stella
Oduah, will purchase 51 patrol vehicles for the Nigerian Police.
The governor said this at the 7th annual Town Hall Meeting on Security, themed:
‘Sustaining Local Responding To Rising National Security Challenges,’ held at the
Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
“It is sad to know that the Federal Government that allocate three patrol vehicles
for one state police command of 370, 000 police men, is unable to resolve how
N255 million was used to purchase 2 saloon vehicles for one officer. It is a very
grave irony.
“The cost of average vehicle needed to patrol the state is just N5 million. And with
such fund, we will have put at least 51 patrol vehicles on the road, patrolling the
streets of Lagos.”

“In spite of all this, they resist the idea of a state police. The money from the

fund was in the last one year used to provide vehicles for the Nigerian Prison

Service, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Special Anti-Robbery

Squad, SARS, National Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC and indeed the

airport wing of the Nigerian police, is funded from this money. And it is the

same aviation ministry that manage the airport that we had this very odious car

scandal of N255 million.”

The governor noted that the upshot of central Government’s failure to confront
security has continued for the past seven years.
The residents of Lagos have borne the burden of that neglect, and there is no
indication that anything will change soon, in spite of endless reform deliberation
and proposals”.
On the crime rate in the state, Fashola said “Our crime data base now has record
content of 92, 488 which helps us to keep track of all those who have been
arrested, prosecuted, jailed or have any contact with the criminal justice system.”
He added that the state is preparing for a future of crime prevention, saying “it
will be technologically driven, scientifically grounded and result assured.”

Bieber told to clean up his act!

Bad-boy Justin Bieber has been told to clean up mess he made in Australia.

In Australia on his last final of his monster 14-month 'Believe' tour, Justin Bieber was told by the mayor of Gold Coast to clean up his act. The admonition came after Bieber, with his gang, spray painted a wall near their hotel.

Mayor Tom Tate spoke to media about the spray-painting and acknowledged that when young "all of us have done something not tasteful, but at the very least we've all done something to rectify what we've done wrong." Not so the Biebs, or not so far.
Mayor Tate also objected to Bieber boasting about the graffiti on social media and said he didn't want such behavior to influence the young people of Gold Coast or of nearby Brisbane.

He invited Bieber to return to Gold Coast and remove the graffiti and said that the materials needed would be supplied for him.
Bieber is in the midst of a 7- show tour of Australia before he'll return home next week. The graffiti is of colorful faces with big eyes; one has a hint of First Nations art to it.

Alarming......409 Nigerians in South African jail- Hon. Abike Dabiri- Erewa!

The House of Representatives, recently condemned the ill-treatment and discrimination against Nigerians living in South Africa, stressing that at least more than 409 were currently serving jail terms in the country.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa
Chairman of the House Committee on Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, disclosed this in a statement issued after the committee’s visit to two prisons in South Africa.
She described the increasing number of Nigerians in foreign prisons as “ridiculously embarrassing.”

Dabiri-Erewa, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency in Lagos State, who visited the prisons alongside two members of the committee, Ajibola Famurewa and Umaru Shidanfi, consular officers of the Nigerian Embassy and executives of the Nigerian Union in South Africa, disclosed that over 400,000 Nigerians were currently living in South Africa.

During her interaction with some inmates, the lawmaker explained that some of them confessed that they had been denied their freedom, despite completing their jail terms.

The inmates complained of extreme discrimination by the prison authorities in South Africa. The law enforcement officers always maltreat citizens of Nigeria for unjustifiable reasons.
“Sometimes, the authorities tore into pieces their Nigerian passports among several other allegations and refused to grant them bail, while others from other countries that committed similar bailable offence were granted bail,” Abike said

A Glimpse Of Hatona Masortit!

In Jewish law, marriage consists of two separate acts, called erusin or kiddushin, meaning sanctification, which is the bethrothal ceremony, and nissu'in or chupah, the actual ceremony for the marriage. Erusin changes the couple's interpersonal status, while nissu'in brings about the legal consequences of the change of status.

In Talmudic times, these two ceremonies usually took place up to a year apart; the bride lived with her parents until the actual marriage ceremony which is the nissuin, would take place in a room or tent that the groom had set up for her. But since the Middle Ages the two ceremonies have taken place as a combined ceremony performed in public.

According to the Talmuderusin involves the groom handing an object to the bride - either an object of value such as a ring, or a document stating that she is being betrothed to him.
In order to be valid, this must be done in the presence of two unrelated male witnesses.
After erusin, the laws of adultery apply, and the marriage cannot be dissolved without a religious divorce. The couple may live together after nisuin.
