School crowns first-ever transgender homecoming king!

A North Carolina high school have crowned the school’s first-ever transgender homecoming king.

 17-year-old Blake Brockington took the honor on Friday night and was crowned in East Mecklenburg High School’s gymnasium as fellow students cheered.

Brockington said that his journey has not always been easy. He hopes this accolade will inspire other trans youth.

“Throughout my life I haven’t always been treated equally as a male, so I’ve always wanted this and everybody has told me I couldn’t do it. ‘You are a girl,’ even though I’ve always identified myself as a male,” said Brockington to WCNC.

Brockington lives with a foster family because members of his family of origin are unable to accept his gender identity. He competed against 13 other senior boys at the school for the title of homecoming king.

Donald Smith, Brockington’s foster father, told WCNC that his son hopes to inspire other trans youth to be true to themselves.

“He really is hoping that it helps those behind him going through the same challenges and struggles,” said Smith.

Each year, students are nominated by their peers to run for the honor, each vying to raise the most money for the school’s chosen charity. 

Iconic child star Shirley Temple dies at 85!

Child star Shirley Temple Black, who lifted America’s spirits as a bright-eyed, dimpled child movie star during the Great Depression and later became a U.S. diplomat, died late on Monday evening at the age of 85, a family spokeswoman said in a statement.

It was reported that Temple Black, who lured millions to the movies in the 1930s, “peacefully passed away” at her California home from natural causes at 10:57 p.m. local time (0157 ET), surrounded by her family and caregivers, the statement said on Tuesday.

“We salute her for a life of remarkable achievements as an actor, as a diplomat, and most importantly as our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and adored wife of fifty-five years,” the statement said.

End - time things.....Bishop collects money from followers to check if their names are in the book of life!

According to a website, a Controversial Bishop identified as Thomas Wahome of Helicopter of Christ Church in Nairobi reportedly collects money to check if his followers’ names are in the ‘book of life’.



A short story about Thomas Wahome described him as“Man of God” and his church as “just out of this world” and “known to craft very bizarre ways of conning his flock".

It was gathered that in 2012, the pastor charged his congregation the sum of Sh. 1,200 if they wanted to touch the (hem of his) garment like the lady in Mark 5:21-34 who touched the hem of Jesus’ garment. Bishop Wahome says that people who touched the hem of his garment were instantly healed of whatever ailment it was that troubled them.

Bishop Wahome is at it again, this time with a new ‘scheme’. For the sum of Sh 1,500, Wahome says, you can now check if your name is in the book of life. 

Apparently, Wahome says, he has a ‘direct line’ to God and he can communicate with him directly.



In a divorce saga in 2011, a Kenyan website The Star reported that Wahome’s estranged wife Mueni said the bishop whose crusades and Sunday services are aired on TV stations, attends to about 500 people per day and each of them parts with Sh10,000 to see him.
Mueni accused Wahome of spending thousands of shillings on a lavish lifestyle while she and the children were left languishing in poverty. 

The wife also added: “Strange women have been calling me and others send me text messages telling me that I am no longer the only bishop’s wife.”

Thomas on his part  said his wife treated him with cruelty causing him psychological trauma and mental anguish. He blamed her for their broken marriage.

Henry Okah attempts jail break in South Africa, rearrested!

Leader of the now rested Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, MEND, Henry Okah was one of the five inmates who attempted to break out of South African Prison, Leeukop.

Spokesperson for the South Africa’s Department of Correctional Services, Manelisi Wolela, confirmed the foiled attempt by Henry and four other inmates.

Wolela said, “I can confirm that Okah is one of the five inmates that attempted to escape and whose efforts were foiled.”He did not give further details of the attempted escape from Leeukop Prison in Northern Johannesburg that was said to have taken place last month.

Okah was convicted last year and sentenced on a 13-count charge of terrorism, including twin bombings that claimed 12 lives in Abuja during the country’s 50th Independence Anniversary in 2010.

According to the Department, most of the offenders involved in the foiled escape bid were currently serving life sentences for various offences, including murder, kidnapping and robbery.

Judge Neels Claaseen, last year, sentenced Okah to 24 years in prison after he was found guilty of the 13-count charge of acts of terrorism.

The judge stated that the struggle of the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND), “is politically motivated and as a result, a maximum sentence for Okah will be inappropriate.”

“As a signatory, South Africa is duty-bound to adopt the treaty and incorporate it into the laws of South Africa, in other words domicile the treaty,” Claaseen said.

Claaseen further added that all the 13 counts Mr. Okah was convicted of were related to three events:

“The first event was the March 15, 2010 bomb attack, where two car bombs occurred at the venue of a political gathering which was being attended by the Delta State Governor in Warri, Delta State, where one person died and several others were injured.

“The second event occurred on October 1, 2010, in Abuja, where two car bombs exploded, killing eight people with several others injured.

“Third event is the threat to the Nigerian government.

“All these three events were targeted at embarrassing President Goodluck Jonathan,” Mr. Claaseen said.

Julia Roberts' half-sister, Nancy Motes, found dead in Los Angeles home!

The coroner's spokesman confirmed that Nancy Motes, the half-sister of actress Julia Roberts, was found dead in a Los Angeles home on Sunday. 



Paramedics were called to the home after Motes, 37, was found on the floor of a bathroom, according to Los Angeles County Coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:12 p.m. Sunday, Winter said. "She has a history of some medical issues," Winter said.  
"Some prescription drugs were found near her body." 

The case is under investigation by the coroner's officer and an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, Winter said.

Allegedled affair between President Obama and Beyonce not true - Washington Post!

A French media firestorm circulated claims that Barack Obama and Beyonce are so in love.

It came as Francois Hollande, France’s head of state and a well-known love cheat, arrived in America on an official state visit without his now-ex partner, Valérie Trierweiler. The rumours of an affair between the American president and the superstar singer- both of whom are married- were first made on Europe 1 radio station Monday morning. 

A French publication claimed that the next big scandal involving the President of United States was happening. Newspaper Le Figaro reported that President Barack Obama was cheating on the First Lady Michelle Obama with singer Beyonce Knowles. 

Obama was believed to be close to Beyonce and her husband Jay - Z in the past years. French photographer Pascal Rostain told the newspaper that "there is something big that is happening" between the two. "We should not forget Marilyn [Monroe] or Monica Lewinsky. You can be the president of the first world power ...that doesn't make you any less a man," he added.

Rostain, who is friends with former French First Lady Carla Bruni, promised, "It'll go out tomorrow [Tuesday, February 11] in the Washington Post. ... I can assure you that the world will talk about it." 

Alleged affair not true says Washington Post:
However, Washington Post is running a different story. "It's definitely not true," spokesperson for the Post Kris Coratti told said in an email that they are planning to run a rebuttal to the speculation. 
The New York Times' Dave Itzkoff also shared an insight to the alleged affair, tweeting, "It just doesn't seem plausible to me that the most powerful person in the world would have time for an affair ." 
It seems like there is an attack from the French media against the U.S. President.

Perhaps when he comes up with a more substantive prove, he might get the attention he craves for.

Latest news making the rounds revealed that Bruce Jenner is knee deep in his transformation into a woman. It was alleged that Bruce already has the weave, grandma’s coral lipstick and the french tips. 




He also recently shaved his Adam’s apple (larygneal shave) and began hormone therapy. His new hairstyle looked not-too-disimilar to the colour and style favored by Kim and Khloe Kardashian. 

The only thing left is full gender reassignment surgery and according to sources Bruce cant wait to have that done.
