WHO Declares Nigeria Ebola Free!

In what was described as a "spectacular success story" by the World health Organization, Nigeria has been declared 'Ebola Free'.



This break came following a comprehensive and coordinated response by the Nigerian government,  to curb the deadly disease, after it found its way into the country through a Liberian, the late Patrick Sawyer. 

U.S State Moves To Censor Pastors Sermons!

In what many have described as "a violation of the First Amendment", the City of Houston has subpoenaed Pastors demanding to see their sermons.

The City attorneys demand read: "all speeches, presentations, or sermons related to HERO, the Petition, Mayor Annise Parker, homosexuality, or gender identiy prepared by delivered by, revised by, or approved by you or in your petition."

Boko Haram Agrees To A Cease Fire!

Nigeria's TV network announced that the hundreds of schoolgirls held by terror group Boko Haram could soon be released.  This came as a news clip from NTA News24, says the deal follows a meeting between a federal government official and Boko Haram representatives and Chadian government officials.

According to report, the ceasefire has been agreed in the hope of getting the group to release the 219 Chibok schoolgirls kidnapped six months ago, Ms Kolawole says.

The agency reportedly quoted the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Marshal Alex Badeh, as ordering his troops to immediately comply with the agreement.

Bruce Jenner Dating Kris Jenner’s Best Friend!

Coming on the heels of their divorce, and according to news report, Bruce has already moved on from Kris, and is reportedly now dating Kris’ former assistant and good pal, Ronda. 

It was gathered that Bruce and Kris had "a very amicable split and they actually didn’t have any lawyers when they filed for divorce". 

In fact, Kris served Bruce herself and they had been separated for over one year. Neither of them have asked for spousal support and they are going to have joint custody of their daughter, Kylie.

Kris listed June 1, 2013 as their date of separation, and Bruce has been living in a bachelor pad in Malibu. They have been broken up for quite some time and it’s only natural that they move on from each other. 

But for Bruce to date her friend must definitely hit very close to home.

Bruce and Ronda were reportedly spotted at the Elton John concert in LA on Oct. 4.

Nollywood Actor Shot dead In Asaba!

Upcoming Nollywood actor, Clem Onyeka was reportedly killed by a stray bullet, as Police bullion van escort and armed robbers engaged in gun battle recently in Asaba, Delta - state capital.

According to an eyewitness account, the van was ambushed around 2pm along DBS road, by the armed robbers, who reportedly operated in an SUV and Sienna cars; in the process of trying to seize the van, the Police escort resisted, resulting in a severe gun battle between the robbers and the Police.

In the process, the armed robbers killed a Police officer, who had shot and killed a member of the gang. 

A stray bullet also hit and killed Onyeka, as he was returning from a filming location. He reportedly died on the spot.

Reports says that when the robbers realized that the Police was gaining in on them, they escaped with their wounded gang member.

Information revealed that the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Celestina Kalu, while speaking on the incident reportedly said “It is apparent that the robbers laid ambush for the bullion van and the police escorts that were coming from Awka. But the bullion van driver was able to manoeuvre his way.

“While the policemen engaged the robbers, one of the robbers dropped down as the shootout went on, but his colleagues were able to carry him and escaped with him as the police fire became too hot for them”.he said.
