The role of Intellectual Property in social and economic development, by analyzing selected successful use of IP tools in developing countries to stimulate innovation and growth was the theme of the recently concluded seminar organized by the Anadach Consulting Group in Lagos.
The workshop which took place at the Four Points hotel between the 14th and 16th July, 2015, attracted stake holders in the Nigerian burgeoning economy, from government's representatives to private players from the banking sector, to entertainment, to health, to academics, and agriculture.
Other more developed countries, like the United States, were not left out, as their representatives highlighted their supports and efforts towards stimulating innovation and growth through IP tools in developing countries, using the Nigerian society as instance.
