The Film 'Captive' Premiers In Lagos On October 1st!
The film 'Captive' released on September 18, by Paramount Pictures, will on Thursday, 1st October premier at The Rock Cathedral - Lagos, Nigeria.
With the theme on Survival, Redemption and Faith, Captive is a true story which began in North Carolina, it evolves around the main character Brian Nicholas (David Oyelowo), who escapes from the Fulton County courthouse in Atlanta on March 11, 2005, and holds Smith (Kate Mara) as a hostage.
The movie premiere is organized by The House On The Rock, and the United States Consulate in Lagos.
Red carpet at the event starts from 6pm.

AU Peacekeeping - Britain To Deploy Troops To Africa!
Britain is expected to get more involved in new peacekeeping

Olu Falea Freed By Abductors!
Chief Samuel Oluyemisi Falae CFR (Olu Falae) was on Thursday, September 24th, released by his abductors after four days in their den.
Chief Olu Falae was kidnapped from his farm in Ilado village, Akure - North L.G in Ondo state at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, September 22.
Narrating his ordeal, Chief Olu Falae who was dropped off by the kidnappers in front of a hotel in Owo, Ondo State, said he trekked several kilometers to get to the hideout of his abductors, and slept on the floor for the four days he was kidnapped.
Olu Falae was escorted home by Solomon Arase, the Inspector General of Police, IGP at about 4.14pm in a black Police SUV, and was received by the Ondo State governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko,

Unilag Students Protest Against 'Over Infestation Of Bugs' In The Hostels!
Students of the University of Lagos, (Unilag), one of the leading higher institutions and a federal research university at the South - Western part of Nigeria, shut down the main gate to the institution, as they protested against the bad condition or what they termed "over infestation of bedbugs" in the hostels at the early hours of Monday, September 28th.
The protest disrupted traffic, which affected other areas around Yaba, area of Lagos metropolis.
