Security Man Sets Fire On Cars In A Building He Manned!

Residents of a block of flats at 10 Lewis Fadipe  street,  around Thomas estate, Ajah - Lekki, woke up in the early hours of Thursday, November 5th, to shouts of 'fire..fire' amist confusion, as they scampered to safety at least to ascertain what was happening.

Fire broke out at the premises, destroying the generator house and large generator which powered the premises and nothing less than five vehicles.

Actual cause of the fire-out break remain unknown, however it is speculated that during a mild argument with one of the occupants, the security man threatened to set fire in the premises, his threat was taken with a pinch of salt until the incident.

The Lagos state Fire service responded swiftly to the distress call placed across to them, and helped the residents and neighbors put out the fire, but not after it consumed five vehicles and the generator.  The security man absconded during the incident, and is still at large.
