Monday, December 14, at about 2am, a bus conveying  51 border police officers to San Salvador de Jujuy, about 175 miles from the border with Bolivia, plunged 60 feet into a ditch, killing 43 officers while 8 were injured.

The bus was traveling along Route 34, a poorly maintained road in some sections, with deep potholes, especially near the bridge, in the Balboa area.

Sri - Lankan Mother Of Three Sentenced To Death By Stoning In Saudi Arabia!

Information sent to us revealed that a  Sri Lankan housemaid, who is also a mother of three will peharps in a couple of days be executed by stoning on the charges of adultery.

The woman's "crime" according to information, was to have had sex with another migrant worker who had been given 100 lashes and set free.

The unidentified woman has no powerful government backing and no other means to save her own life from this 'capital punishment' in Saudi Arabia, only world outrage might save her.

It is believed that millions of signatures from across the globe would make a difference in the proceedings in this case.

Please sign the petition from the link below to demand the release of the Sri Lankan housemaid sentenced to death by stoning.

Death penalty is cruel. Stoning is barbaric. It is slow. It is inhuman.

Ijora Bad Roads Crying For Attention!

This is a major road in Ijora, before 'under-bridge' and off Michelin , linking the Island, Mainland and Apapa area of Lagos metropolis, yet the sorry state of this road will leave you wondering if it has been a beneficiary of the much acclaimed Lagos transformaton that started a couple of years back.

Curbing Isis!

It is no longer news that there abound moves to curtail the excesses of the extremist terrorist group (Isis). A group that claims responsibility for numerous plane downing, suicide bombing, sporadic shootings, stabbing, killings and executions in a most heinous manner Muslims and people from other religion whom they term as 'infidels'. It only takes a different line of thought from theirs to qualify one as a potential recipient of their venom.

When the West (U.S, Britain, Germany, France etc) wants to send a strong message to a presumed dictatorial government especially in the peripheral states, they use sanctions, which isolates and prohibits the government from trading with major players in key economic fields and vis-a-vis.

Indications from videos uploaded by this sect points to the obvious that Isis gets a large junk of its fund from seized oil fields, which is channeled towards the welfare of its members, financing trips and purchasing ammunition making it easy for them to carry out terrorist acts across the globe.

In as much as the extremists can not be sanctioned as is obtained in the situation of a recognized government, aside bombardments and other vital intelligent strategies, emphasis should equal be placed on identifying the market(s) where the oil is sold, allies who secretly or openly patronize them, publish their identities and use sanctions where necessary.
