Brent Rise, Hope For The Oil Market?!

There appear to be light at the end of the tunnel for crude traders as Brent crude rose 2% to a three-month high of $39.50 per barrel, for the first time in 2016. 
Brent is reportedly climbing for the sixth consecutive day, while shares in oil groups is spring back.

Explosion At South Carolina Oconee Nuclear Station!

Fire and explosion has been reported at Oconee Nuclear Station, a nuclear power plant on Lake Keowee near Seneca, South Carolina, on Sunday, March 6, 2016.

Authorities said the facility has declared an the incident an “unusual event", while emergency crews are working to bring the situation under control.  Actual cause of the explosion is not certain as at the time of filing this report.

Nancy Davis Reagan, wife of Ronald Wilson Reagan, the 40th President of the United States, has died of congestive heart failure in Bel-Air, Los Angeles - California on Sunday, March 6, 2016.


Born in FluishingNew York City on July 6, 1921, Nancy Reagan was described as one of the most high-profile and influential first ladies of the 20th century. 

 


Nancy was She was the First Lady of the United States from 1981 to 1989. She was 94.

Nigeria's Minister of State For Labour And Productivity, James Ocholi, Wife And Son Dies In Auto Crash!

Nigeria’s Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, and Senior Advocate James Enojo Ocholi, died in an accident, which claimed the lives of his wife and one of his sons on the Kaduna-Abuja highway, on his way back from Kaduna, in the noon hours of Sunday, 6 March, 2016.

Information revealed that the Jeep in-which the minister was travelling in with his wife and son had a burst tyre causing it to run into other vehicles in the convoy, the jeep somersaulting several times, Ocholi, and son died on the spot, while his his wife went into coma and passed later at Doka hospital in Kaduna. 


The driver and aide-de-camp are in critical condition and has been transferred to the National hospital, Abuja.

James Ocholi was 55.

Kidnapped Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary School Girls Regain Freedom!

Deborah, Tofunmi and Oluwatimileh, the three senior high school girls abducted on Monday, March 1st, at about 8pm, from their school Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary (BMJSS) in Ikorodu - Lagos Nigeria regained their freedom on Sunday, March 6.



The girls were found by some good Samaritans at Igbokuta area of Ikorodu, after they were dropped off by the kidnappers. They were thereafter taken to the Police station from where the Police took, over and handed the girls over to the Lagos state government. 


Medical examinations conducted on the girls proved they were unharmed and not molested. In the meantime, the Police made three arrests in connection to the kidnap.
