Lil Mama Arrested For Driving Without A Proper Licence!

Trinidadian-American hip hop recording artist from Brooklyn, New York, Niatia Jessica Kirkland, better known by her stage name Lil Mama, was at about 4am, Thursday, March 10 around Harlemarrested for driving without a proper license. 
What attracted the attention of officers was the 13 miles over the limit speed,   was driving on.

Nigeria To Develop Frame Work On Managing $321m Recovered Abacha's Loot!

Nigeria's Vice President  Prof. Yemi Osinbajo SAN, says the Federal government is working to develop a framework on how to manage the $321m stolen funds from Nigeria under late Gen. Sanni Abacha's military government. 
The V.P disclosed this as the Nigerian government welcomed the offer of the Swiss government to return the stolen funds, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, during a meeting with a Swiss delegation led by the Swiss’s Federal Councillor and Head of its Foreign Affairs Department, Mr. Didier Burkhalter and the Swiss Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Eric Mayoruz.
An agreement described as a “Letter of Intent” between the Swiss government and the Nigerian government on the restitution of illegally-acquired assets forfeited in Switzerland, was signed by Nigeria's Attorney-General and Justice Minister, Mr. Abubakar Malami, SAN, while Mr. Burkhalter signed the letter on behalf of the Swiss government.
Under the agreement the Swiss government will award to Nigeria the sum of $321m “of funds illicitly acquired by the Abacha family, initially deposited in Luxembourg and confiscated by the Judiciary of the Republic and Canton of Geneva pursuant to a Forfeiture order dated 11th December 2014.”

Norway, Sweden, Finland and Poland leads in The Economist “glass-ceiling index” which reveals countries where women have the best chances of equal treatment at work. 


Combination of data on Labour-force participation, pay, child-care costs, maternity rights, higher education, business-school applications and representation in senior jobs and paternity rights as an additional measure comes into play in the study which indicates that in situations where new fathers take parental leave, mothers tend to return to the labour market, hence female employment is higher and the earnings gap between men and women is lower. 





The index corroborates United Nations' International Women's Day marked on March 8th.
