Uniformed man Infringes On Civilian Right In A Commercial Bus!

 The scene in the pictures below happened opposite the Yoruba Tennis Club, Onikan, Lagos - Nigeria. The young man putting on sun-shade was already seated at the window side, front seat, of a Yaba bound  bus when a uniformed man got there and asked him to move to a plastic makeshift seat attached in-between the driver's seat and the window seat, which is not comfortable by any means.

The uniformed man was asked to sit on the inner (plastic) chair instead, or else where in the bus, since there weren't much passengers at the time, he (uniformed) insisted the (civilian) man should move instead.

A small crowd gathered,  as the civilian man politely refused to move in. Passengers in the now filled vehicle, and drivers from other commercial buses (waiting for their turn to load), tried to make the uniformed man see reason, and to understand that since he met the man already seated, ordering him to "move in, so you can seat" was as a matter of fact infringing on someone else's right.

When all "good" reasoning fell on deaf ears, and since the uniformed man insisted that he must seat on that particular seat, in solidarity, the other passengers in the bus simply alighted together with the young man, and boarded the next bus in line.

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari joins his counterparts from across Europe and the rest of the world to commiserate with Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel and Belgians, over the loss suffered in Tuesday, March 22, terrorist attacks on the Zaventem Airport and Maalbeek Metro Station, Brussels, and to condemning the atrocious attacks.

President Buhari in a statement released through the office of the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Femi Adesina, on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, stated that the horrific attack on Brussels enforces the need for greater international cooperation to effectively confront and destroy global terrorism and its perpetrators.

Shameful Act Of Rivers Election Re-Run Candidate Goes Viral!

A video of one of the candidates of Rivers states , Nigeria; from March 19, 2016, election re-run, Azubuike Nwajoku, of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who  reportedly stormed one of the voting centers, to demand for a re-fund of money, from an official has gone viral. 

From the clip, it appeared the obviously fraustrated candidate, peharps because the situation did not go as anticipated, ran (battle ready) to the polling-unit, demanding for his money.

...."where is my money...where is my f%$&king money" he pulled the officer's table, brought out his phone to call 'who knows??'....

"I don't have any problem with anybody, I have problem with you"-  Azubuike was seen and heard, telling the polling unit officer, as one of the security personnel intervened.

Other officials at the unit could be heard asking Azubike- "what's your problem?". His men were eventually pushed out of the room.

An official was heard, quoting the Constitution to the candidate. Can you beat that?.

"Do or Die Politics" (DDP); this is one of the many issues that beclouds the Nigerian political system. Where touts run for positions, at all levels of governance, simply because those who should be vying for such positions, who know the Constitution, those with integrity, shy away from doing so. 

With this group of people infesting the political system, how can the country move forward.

Brussels Attacks:Obama Orders U.S Flag To Be Flown In Half-Staff Till March 26th!

U.S President Barack Obama has ordered that the United States flag be flown at half-staff at the White House as a mark of respect to victims of March 22 terrorist attacks in Brussels, Belgium. 

The half-staff flag is to be flown in all public building and grounds, Military posts, Naval stations and Vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and in all United States and territories until Saturday, March 26th, 2016.

CCTV Reveals Brussels Airport Terror Attack Suspects!

Three men captured in cctv video at Zaventem Airport are believed to be responsible for the deadly attack carried out at the Departure Hall of  Zaventem Airport, Brussels, Belgium. 

The two men in dark colored top (to the left) were believed to be suicide bombers who detonated themselves in the attack, while the man in light colored jacket and a dark hat (to the right) is suspected to have played a key role in the airport attack and still at large.

Terror attacks at 8:20 local time, Tuesday, March 22, at Zaventem Airport and Maelbeek Metro station left about 34 people dead and over a hundred and twenty injured. A third bomb found at the airport was reportedly destroyed by security.

World leaders, organizations and celebrities from around the world have expressed their condolences and solidarity with Belgium.

Authorities said Zaventem Airport will be closed on Wednesday, however, it is hoped that it will be open on Thursday.


Two bombers died in the attack, ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
