"You Did Not Marry My Sister You Kidnapped Her" - Man Cries Out Following An Arrange-Marriage Between A Much Older man And His Teenage Sister Without Her Family's Knowledge!!

A man from Umualabuike Isiokpo, Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State, South-East Nigeria, has cried out via his Facebook platform, against an arranged-marriage by a Pastor from Fishers of Men Charismatic Church, Isiokpo, between his teenage sister to a much older man.

According to story, wedding cards were sent out and all necessary arrangements concerning the wedding made without the knowledge nor consent of the girl's family.

The narration below:

many people will say why did I went to work why my Blood sister is getting married.

it just started on 29th of June 2018, when a class mate of my so called sister "UDOYE BLESSING" chatted me that my sister is getting married and have printed a wedding card and I could not Invite her to the wedding.

In surprise I asked Her "which of my sister is getting married and I did not know, Is it a Joke or what?"

she said she is with the wedding card that if I doubt her, I should Invite her to see the wedding Card.

with my utmost surprise, I thought its a dream while its reality.

on reaching home I called her to come that I want to ask her if what am hearing and seeing is true or a nightmare?

Surprisingly She replied "So U have not heard, If you want to know U have to come to our church to know more details"

Imagine someone that I thought is my sister have been deceived by Their so called Pastor From Fishers of men Charismatic church Isiokpo, that she should not tell any member of her family that she is getting married.

I asked my sister again "Blessing who is the man that is seeking your hand in marriage that your family members will not know? is he a ghost or human being? Are you Crazy? How Could you marry someone that your sibling dont Know? How old are You? Is Marriage your future to think for now? how can your pastor print and share wedding card without the consent of your family? Whose names is written in the Card?.

after all this Investigation I found out that the so called Abominable church "Fishers of Men Charistmatic Church Isiokpo, had plan the wedding since six months ago and hide it from the girls family.

on Sunday 1st July 2018 when I Started reporting that this wedding will never hold in my eye, that is when our so called stupid inlaw receive information that the family did not agree that the wedding will hold.

on monday 2nd of July 2018, I am preparing to go work when someone knocked, after receiving the guest

he introduced himself to be the father of this man in the picture with my sister, that he heard we reject the wedding and traditional marriage which will hold on 7th and 8th of July 2018.

that he came only to appeal for us to accept his apology to hold the wedding, that it will be an insult to him if the wedding did not hold, that he had informed their churches all over Nigeria that his Son Is getting marriage, that He had shared the wedding card Since ending of May 2018.

I asked him a question "Is this not the first time am seeing you? How can an elder like you do such evil, by printing a wedding card without knowing your inlaws?

how can you fix dates for wedding and traditional marriage only you and your churches without seeing the parents of the Child.

He replied "that is the Order of their church, that the Family of the Girl will not know until the wedding date" 

Tufiaa!!!! this is a taboo and I have never seen such in Isiokpo Land since My Birth. and can never accept a taboo.

Another Fire Disaster Prevented In Lagos!

Barely five days after the fire incident that claimed scores of lives and destroyed about fifty vehicles at Berger Bus-stop on Thursday, June 28, 2018, another tragedy was averted this afternoon, 4th of July, 2018, at  Alimosho-Mosalashi area of Lagos state.

According to information received, a tanker loaded with the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) product, upturned, spilling the product all over the express-way. 

Prompt arrival of Lagos state Fire Service officials at the scene quelled what would have turned out to be a disaster in the populated area.

11-Year-Old Kareem Olamilekan Trends, As President Macron Congratulates Him On Drawing!

President Emmanuel Macron, embarked a two-day official visit to Nigeria, Tuesday, July 3, 2018, to foster closer relationship with English-speaking Africa.  

The French President was received at the Presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, Nigeria's capital city, by Nigeria's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, at about 3:10pm (local time). This visit came 17 years after Macron's stay in Nigeria. "It's very emotional for me to come back to Nigeria 17 years after my stay. I didn't imagine I’d be back in these conditions." President Macron twitted.

Nigeria's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, stated that this visit "will strengthen economic, trade, and cultural relations between France and Nigeria, while reinforcing French support in the security area.

Later on, President Macron met with Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari, where information made available revealed that issues that bothers on security was discussed. 

Muhammadu Buhari twitted: "Our discussions focused on security, especially regarding G5S and stabilizing the Sahel; economic issues; and the Inter Basin Water Transfer for Lake Chad. Our two countries also signed a number of Agreements."

Five Dead As Lone Shooter Storms The Capital Gazette Office In Maryland!

About five people were reportedly shot dead and several others wounded at The Capital Gazette offices at 888 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, Maryland, United States, when a lone gunman shot sporadically at employees through a glass door to the office, Thursday afternoon, June 28, 2018.

Black Thursday In Lagos, As Fuel Tanker Explodes!

Nine people were confirmed dead, eight adults and a minor, when a Mack tanker loaded with about 33 litres of the fuel, driving inwards the popular Berger bus-stop, towards Lagos-Ibandan express way, lost control, fell-over, spilled its content on the road, resulting into an explosion and fire out-break. The incident occurred at about 5:23 pm, Thursday, June 28, 2018.

Information revealed that four persons sustained various degree of burns, while over 50 vehicles were razed in the inferno. 

Eye-witness reports however suggests the number of causalities might be higher than earlier stated, as many people were trapped in their cars when the explosion happened.

The Lagos state government, in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information ans Strategy, Mr. Kehinde Bamigbetan, commiserates with families of persons who lost their lives as well as properties. The government described the incident as unfortunate and regrettable, while promising to put-in measures to ensure safety of lives and properties for residents.

The road remain closed as rescue officials are still at work.

Domestic Violence: To What Extent Is A Child Protected ?!

Recently, a popular Nigerian Actor, Cossy Ojiakor, accused her neighbour, identified as Mr. Martin Obinka Maruche of beating his wife on the streets of Badore, Ajah area of the Lekki- Peninsula axis of Lagos state, Nigeria.

According to Ms. Cossy Ojiakor, "...Tonight, another episode...he was beating her on the streets,  his daughter begged him to stop and he hit the little girl with his belt...I stupidly went to intervene and he used the belt to wipe me so hard...". 

The case according to Cossy Ojiakor was reported to Ilaso Police station, but Mr. Maruche failed to honour Police invitation.

When Roving Informant contacted Mr. Maruche on phone, to confirm the accusation, he replied  "Yes this is Mr. Obinka Maruche, the one and only". 

After establishing that we were speaking with the accused, our reporter asked the reason he beats his wife and flogged his child. Mr. Maruche replied "If you want to know the truth about this case, come to the station tomorrow (June 27th, 2018) I will be speaking on the case tomorrow". 

What "station" are we expected to "come to"? our reporter asked,  but Mr. Maruche declined giving further details. 

Actress Cossy Ojiakor further on her Instagram handle, revealed that she has "been getting verbal threats from his (Mr.  Maruche) friends and family."

Based on the allegation that a minor, (a child) was 'flogged' by the father with a leather belt, simply because she wanted to safe her mother from further beating; Roving Informant calls on the Nigerian Police, Child Protection Agencies, well meaning individuals and organisations to intervene in cases such as this, to ensure that children are protected in domestic-violence situations.

With the "finishing-date" of the construction of Lagos-Seme Border railway and express way not-yet-known, and judging by the rather slow and discomforting pace of the construction, we are left with no choice but to call-out relevant authorities to buckle-up and finish-up this road, whiles at it, a etter alternative should be put in plan to easy the plights of people living in and plying this axis.
