Dispatch Rider Rapes 18 Year-Old Store Attendant In Lagos!

It's yet another sad story as a dispatch rider reportedly rapes an 18-year old store attendant in Bariga area of Lagos-state.

According to the narrative, a delivery man went for pick-up at a shop in Lagos-Nigeria. On knowing that the 18-year-old shop keeper was alone, he raped her despite her shouts, telling her no one will hear her. Thereafter, he threw a N1000 in her face and told her to clean up and go sort herself out because he came in her.

After the dispatch rider left, the girl called her boss, who old her not wash her self, so as to have evidence to report against the incident.  The store owner drove down and took the victim to the hospital. After running some tests, semen was found in the victim's privates.

When approached, the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) reportedly said they can only administer PEP Medication if the victim dropped the 'rape' charges.

The case was also reported at the Ilaje Police, Bariga. The store owner claimed she was unable to formally lodge the case, as at the time of filling this report, because the DPO was unavailable to attend to them.
