The Amazing Story Of Olajumoke, From Bread Seller To Top Model!

The story of how a Lagos based bread seller and mother of two, Olajumoke Orisaguna unintentionally photobombed a professional shoot on the streets of Lagos, an incident that transformed her life, turning her into a top model, has been on the lips of many.
It was told that  British rapper Tinie Tempah, was in Nigeria on a visit to his parents. While here, he took time out to do some portrait work with a popular Nigerian photographer and singer, TY Bello, when the Osun state born bread hawker, Olajumoke, wearing a red dress and carrying loaves of what Lagosians call 'Agege-bread' on her head, unintentionally walked into the scene.
According to TY Bello, Jumoke, a former hair stylist seemed a little confused, ‘Some people were asking her to walk past really quickly, others were asking her to stay, she was just in limbo. I said ‘is it ok to take your photograph?’ And she nodded ok’.
When the photographs landed for the first time on social media, everyone immediately thought she was a model and TY Bello found herself so awed by the naturally beautiful mysterious bread lady that she Instagrammed her accidental shot.

TY Bello twitted: "Everyones bn asking if this lady is a model .pure coincidence .she walked unto d set.id love to help her be one tho".

Instagram sleuths got on the case, tracked down the would-be poser and put her in touch with Bello. A shoot was thereafter arranged for Thisday Style, a Nigerian magazine.

Jumoke Orisaguna was a bread seller in Lagos when she stumbled across a photoshoot between U.K. pop star Tinie Tempah and photographer TY Bello.
The Photos include one that captures Jumoke (as seen above) draped in clouds of red fabric and holding her 14 months old daughter and second child.

For some years now, the Old Federal Secretariat at Ikoyi, an affluent neigbourhood  in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos state has generated concern from well meaning Nigerians over the controversy surrounding the property.

A controvercy that has tied down the facility, making the once beehive of activities an eyesore and a den of hoodlums who grabbed the opportunity of a free habour it presents.

Eminent Nigerians had argued that since the Federal Government no longer required the facility, it is only reasonable that the property be handed back to the Lagos state government or give the state the preference of acquiring them.
