Nigerians Earnestly AWait Outcome Of Police Investigations On Ozubulu Church Massacre!

..."Our security forces must not stop until everyone involved in the orchestration and execution of today's massacre in St. Philip's Catholic Church, Anambra State, are brought to book by the strong arm of Justice". Part of Nigeria's Senate President, Bukola Saraki's speech after the Ozubulu, Anambra Church massacre.

Nigerians earnestly wait for the outcome of Police investigation in August 6,  2017 shooting at St. Philip's Catholic Church, Amakwa Ozubulu, which resulted in the death of about 11 people including Pa Cyprian Ikegwuonu, father of Chief Aloysius Ikegwuonu, who was reported to have built St Philip's Catholic Church, scene of the incident. The shooting was attributed to counter-stroke between two indigenes of Ozubulu community.

A couple of days ago news went round of how one of the indigenes of Ozubulu community mentioned in connection to the feud, Chief Aloysius Ikegwuonu, with entouragepaid visits to victims of the shooting in the various hospitals where they are currently receiving treatments. Inline with promises made by the Nigerian Government to bring 'orchestrators' and 'executors' of St. Philip's Catholic Church massacre to book by the strong arm of Justice, individuals named (in any way) in connection to this massacre, should by now be under intense (national and international) investigation, and when there are enough evidence, they should be charged to the Court of Law and brought to book. Otherwise this situation if left unchecked, could signal the rising of "gang shootouts" and swell security issues across the country.

This is not the time for "dilly-dally"... Nigerians earnestly await the outcome of Police investigations in Ozubulu Church massacre.
