After about a year and four months of construction, Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode on Wednesday, May 17th, 2017, commissioned the Lekki/ Ajah Flyover Bridge, called the "Jubilee Bridge".
According to the Lagos State Government, the Jubilee Bridge, a 160 metres long dual carriageway and total length of 620 metres ramp with service lanes on either side, was constructed not only to ease traffic but also to make Lekki-Epe axis more attractive for investment.
