It will be recalled that a man who resides in Beirut- Lebanon and identified as  Jerro, recently put up the passport of a Nigerian lady identified as Busari Peace, on a Facebook group- ‘Buy and Sell in Lebanon’.

The advert read: “Domestic worker from Nigeria for sale with new legal documents. She’s 30 years old, she’s very active and very clean. Price: $1,000,” the user wrote in Arabic.

The page and post were later deleted but not until Facebook users already took snapshots.
The Nigerian mission in Lebanon has demanded that the girl be returned in good health to the mission.

Reacting to this, the Lebanese government has announced the arrest of Mr. Wael Jerro for further prosecution on the crime.
