Commuter Bus Gut Fire In Marina!

A commercial bus caught fire, causing heavy traffic at the inward marina bridge - Lagos, Friday morning. 



Men of the fire service responded rapidly, and battled to put off the fire. 


Luckily, no casualty was recorded. 

Man Arrested For Climbing Mast Naked!

The young man in the picture below caused some commotion at the Lekki Scheme 1 - area of Lagos....


...when he climbed the very long DBN mast naked, in the early hours of Thursday, March 26.


He attracted the attention of passers-by, as residents gathered to know what was amiss, he was on the mask for over 3 hours, chanting gospel songs....


...until some security personnel in the area whisked him away, as soon as he climbed down. 


Reason(s) for his action remain unknown.

Horrifying.....Passenger Bus In Brazil Falls Into Large Hole And Gets Swept Away by Flood!

A passenger bus on a Brazillian  high way, fell into a large hole, and was swept away by rushing flood. 

Passengers on-board were luckily evacuated moments before it fell into the hole.

Hope Of Survivors In Germanwings A320 With 150 Passengers On board, Including 16 School Children Appear Slim!

A Passenger plane, A320, making a Barcelona - Düsseldorf's flight for Lufthansa's lowcost arm, Germanwings, with 144 passengers, including 16 school children and six crew on board, crashed near some small isolated area of small villages and hamlets that is difficult to reach; in Bercelonette, Southern Alps- France. 

Information revealed by authorities stated that flight 4U9525 disappeared off the radar at around 11.20am, after it dropped from 11,500 metres to 2,100 metres (38,000ft to 7,000ft) in nine minutes between 10.31am and 10.40am. 
Initial reports said a distress call was made by the pilots at 10.47am but French authorities later said this was not the case. Experts warn, it could take hours for emergency teams to reach crash site

Passenger manifest was being verified.

Is This Fuel Scarcity Scare Or What?

Signs like the one below, is what you see in some gas stations around the Lagos metropolis, as the general elections draw near....


No week passed without people getting stranded under the scorching sun,  either waiting for (non- coming) public transports, or exhausted in vehicles, as they patiently peddle breaks, in the slow movements, caused by long queue from gas stations.


What ever this is, and coming at these skittish time???
Its just not fair on people....

If you care about the people, well, make things easier for them...

Can we get the fuel from where ever its being hoarded, to the people biko...phew!

Boko- haram Members Kill Wives As They Fled!

Bodies of at 70 bodies, including that of the Imam of Damasak town, in Northern Nigeria, was recently discovered by Chadian and Nigerien soldiers, who were on the heels of boko-haram insurgents, as they fled the area. 
Information revealed that the bodies were strewn beneath the concrete bridge on one of the main roads leading out of the town. At least one was decapitated.

The bodies were partially mummified by the dry desert air, while grass has began to grow around the corpses, suggesting that the killings had taken place some time ago.

About 50 Damasak residents had fled as at the town was re-taken, those who remained were mostly too old or too sick to leave.
