OandO is set to build a gas plant with the capacity to process 300 million standard cubit feet per day, which is estimated to cost about $350million. This is coming as the company focuses on integrating gas production with its supply business.
OandO's Managing Director, Bolaji Osunsanya, made this known on Thursday, 26th November, he added that the plant which will take 24 months to be completed is a step towards meeting the increasing demand for gas, Osunsanya further stated that Nigeria will need around $55 billion over the next seven years to develop gas infrastructure to meet growing demand, which would include building new pipelines, processing plants and drilling of new wells.
