Old Federal Secretariat In Ikoyi - Lagos, Now A Den Of Hoodlums!

For some years now, the Old Federal Secretariat at Ikoyi, an affluent neigbourhood  in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos state has generated concern from well meaning Nigerians over the controversy surrounding the property.

A controvercy that has tied down the facility, making the once beehive of activities an eyesore and a den of hoodlums who grabbed the opportunity of a free habour it presents.

Eminent Nigerians had argued that since the Federal Government no longer required the facility, it is only reasonable that the property be handed back to the Lagos state government or give the state the preference of acquiring them.

Man Charged For Throwing Life Alligator Into Restaurant's Drive Through Window!

Authorities say Joshua James a 23 year-old Florida man has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, illegally killing, possessing or capturing an alligator, and second-degree larceny petite theft, for throwing a life alligator through a Wendy restaurant's drive-through window.

Thought the incident happened in October 2015, when Joshua rolled up the restaurant's window and tossed the alligator in.

His parents told authorities that their son is not a bad kid, he just did a stupid prank, and he had no problem turning himself in.

The suspect was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals recently, while the alligator has since been returned to the local canal.
