Authorities say Joshua James, a 23 year-old Florida man has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, illegally killing, possessing or capturing an alligator, and second-degree larceny petite theft, for throwing a life alligator through a Wendy restaurant's drive-through window.
Thought the incident happened in October 2015, when Joshua rolled up the restaurant's window and tossed the alligator in.
His parents told authorities that their son is not a bad kid, he just did a stupid prank, and he had no problem turning himself in.
The suspect was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals recently, while the alligator has since been returned to the local canal.
