Britons Will Be Fattest People By 2025!

A recent largest ever obesity study conducted by researchers at the Imperial College London found that nearly four in 10 Britons will be dangerously overweight by 2025.

The experts blamed this development on the government for failing to bring in higher taxes on sugary foods and drinks, stating that the crisis has become a ‘national tragedy’. The study also showed within ten years from now, a lot of people will be severely obese so much so that drugs as statins and beta-blockers which lower blood pressure, cut cholesterol and taking by millions of older people will stop working, leaving them with surgery options to prevent disease and early death.

UK Renewables Break New Records As Electricity Bills Drop!

A recent publication (new figure) by the U.k indicates that renewable electricity generation in 2015 increased by 83.3 TWh, a 29% higher that 2014’s 64.7 TWh, resulting in drastic fall in electricity bills.
According to the report, wind energy grew 26%, currently powering 9.8 million households in the UK. Solar output increased to 86%, while bioenergy grew a modest 28%.
Due to the closure of numerous coal mines around the country, coal output was  at 27% lower than it was in 2014. Indicating that coal imports are dropping 39%, as generators’ demand for coal fell 24%, reportedly its lowest level ever.
With an almost 0% electricity supply all over the country, why cant this be replicated in Nigeria?
