Colonel Samaila Inusa of the Nigerian Army, who was whisked away on Sunday March 27, 2016, by armed men, suspected to be kidnappers at Kamazo, along Kaduna Refinery Road, in Chikun local government area of Kaduna State, was on Tuesday, March 29 found dead at about 6.00pm around Ajyaita village off Eastern Bypass Kaduna, Kaduna State - north-western Nigeria.
Colonel Inusa was reportedly abducted alongside his wife, however, the abductors dropped off his wife and left with him in his car. They headed towards Abuja, Nigeria's capital city.
Investigation indicates that Col Inusa was killed same day he was kidnapped by his abductors, because the body was found already decomposing.
The Nigerian Army authorities stated that arrangements are in place to move the body to 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna, as they promised the killer(s) will be fished out to face the full wrath of the law.
Investigation indicates that Col Inusa was killed same day he was kidnapped by his abductors, because the body was found already decomposing.
