Ben Bruce Urges Buhari To Address Herdsmen/ Farmers Clashes To Prevent Imminent Food Shortage Calamity!

Ben Murray Bruce, Nigeria's Senator representing Bayelsa East constituency, under the People's Democratic Party (PDP) platform, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari, to as a matter of urgency, take steps to end the menace of herdsmen/farmer clashes in the country's middle belt region, to avert impending food shortage in the country.

Tubman Replaces Jackson On U.S $20 Bill!

The U.S Treasury Department is expected to announce on Wednesday, April 20, the replacement of  slave-holding Andrew Jackson on the center of a new $20 note, by Harriet Tubman, an African-American woman who ferried thousands of slaves to freedom,  she also participated actively in the struggle for women's suffrage in the post-war era. 

Tubman died in 1913 at the age of 93.

Nigeria Refineries Resuscitation Targets To Reduce Fuel Importation By 60% By 2018!

With Port-Harcourt refinery back to its feet, Warri refinery due to start refining soon and Crude bumped to Kaduna refinery, Petroleum Minister, Ibe Kachikwu says the target is to reduce Nigeria's fuel importation by 60% by 2018.
