Petrol station selling fuel at =N=86.50 per liter with no queue at Abaje village near Abuja, Nigeria's capital city on Tuesday, April 19, 2016.
Nigeria's Petroleum Minister, Ibe kachikwu, while addressing this issue recently stated that the the government is tackling the situation by ensuring that the country is flooded with fuel cargoes.
With some filling stations around the country currently selling at prices way above the official rate, and the lingering queue, some positive development might be expected soon.
