Information reaching us alleged he was shot and kidnapped in the early hours of today Thursday 13th March 2014, at his home.
It was gathered that Cool FM, a sister company of Wazobia FM shared on Instagram all the details and how you can help.
The information below:
“Gunmen have shot and kidnapped one of Wazobia FM Presenters in Port Harcourt whose name is Akas Baba. Akas was attacked at about 2am today at his rumuekini residence in Port Harcourt in the presence of his family. Akas Baba whose real name is Anthony Akatakpo was shot in his leg and whisked away by one of his attackers in a Mitsubishi Endeavor SUV. If you have any information that could help secure his release, please contact the nearest Police station to you.
