Ugandan maid caught on camera as she tortured the toddler left in her care
reportedly revealed her reasons for almost killing an 18-month old child she was baby sitting.
The 22 -year-old told the court that she was driven to attack the 18-month-old because the child's mother had beaten her, an allegation the child's mother denied.
Jolly Tumuhirwe, faces up to five years in jail for committing assault occasioning actual bodily harm. She is due to be sentenced on Monday.
