According to source, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign train, along side some of the party's heavy weights, Vice President Namadi Sambo; National Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Adamu Muazu; and Governor Ibrahim Shema of Katsina State among others, arrived Katsina, state of the All Progressive Congress party (APC) presidential flag bearer, Rtd. Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.
It was gathered that as the team stopped, to pay a courtesy visit to late President Umoru Yar’Adua’s mother, Hajiya Dada, some youths, allegedly wielding broom, waded towards them, chanting “Sai Buhari,”. They were however disassembled by security agents.
Not done with their mission, the thugs, reportedly reassembled, having being stopped by security agents with tear gas canisters, threw stones at the convey as they headed towards katsina Airport.
Pheww.....thank God no casualty or case of injuries was reported.
