U.N Boss Visits Nigeria!


United Nations Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at about 4.15 p.m, Sunday August 23rd, for a two-day visit.

Chief among his visitation agenda is to discuss issues that bothers the nation  with President Muhammadu Buhari, chief among them being combating Islamist Insurgency violence.  

This came in the wake of suspected Boko Haram ambush on a convoy carrying the newly-appointed chief of army staff Maj. Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai on Saturday.


With the 4th memorial only a few days away, Ban Ki-moon honoured victims of thFriday, 26th August, 2011 terror attack which the Boko-Haram sect claimed responsibility, on United Nations office in Abuja.



The U.N Chief also visited and held talks with children at Garki Junior Secondary School Abuja.
