News making rounds reports that the Nigerian Intelligent Responds Team (IRT) on the afternoon of Thursday, December 20, 2018, arrested a man reported to be one of the most wanted Boko Haram terrorist sect leader.

The 36 year old suspect, identified as Umar Abdulmalik was arrested in his hideout somewhere in the Mowe area of Ogun state, Nigeria. According to reports, Umar Abdulmalik was receiving treatment in the home of a nurse, reported to be his sister, from bullet injuries sustained during a recent gun clash with the Police in Nigeria's capital city, Abuja.
Umar is reported to be the mastermind of bank robberies in Ogun, Edo and other Nigerian southern states, as well as the 2015 explosions in Kuje and Nyanya areas of Abuja.
Umar Abdulmalik is equally alleged to be behind a prison break, where over a hundred prisoners fled in Niger state.
The nurse and her husband was reportedly taken into Police custody for further interrogation.
