The Media celebrates 45th Anniversary of Apollo 11's Moon Walk!

Forty-five years ago, three brave astronauts launched into space with the goal of becoming the first to walk on the moon. The now-legendary crew of Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins left the planet on July 16, 1969, setting off from Florida's Kennedy Space Center and arriving on the Moon four days later. On July 20, "with one small step," Neil Armstrong made history, becoming the first person to set foot on the moon. The next day, his smiling face was on the cover of Newsweek.

Ibinabo responds to Mr. Ibu's alleged mismanagement of funds- He is detached from reality!

President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ibinabo Fiberesima has responded to comic-actor, John Okafor’s comments that she should not re-contest because of her alleged mismanagement of funds received from President Goodluck Jonathan.
Ibinabo said that Okafor better known as Mr Ibu is detached from reality and that, unlike him, she doesn’t beg state government or politicians for money.
Which money is he talking about? That is why I said he is detached from the realities on ground. When we went to visit the President, there was no money promised to anybody. We didn’t go there to beg for money as Mr. Ibu is used to doing; we didn’t do that. They push you to the extent that you say things that you don’t want to. I’m not about money, for once they should stop and think, see what my team and I have achieved in two years.”
Mr. Ibu cannot vote for me, he does not have the power to do that. He cannot even run for office because he is not a member, and I was expecting to see the names of the members whom he referred to because I don’t know them, and I hope they are members of the Guild because we have actors who are not members.”
She also added that no amount of bad press and false allegations would hinder her from running for re-election to remain AGN president.
“You should not because of your interest in a name feel you can come out and talk off point to become relevant. When people say people should have education, it is for this kind of reason so they will know how to speak in public.”
They think running to the press and running me down on Facebook and others will deter me. No. I was not brought up like that, I’m a very thorough breed. I will do what I have to do to get to where I am going. It is the love that I get from people whose lives I have touched that keeps me going, not those who don’t know where they are going, because every sentence they make is money, where is the money?”

Unbelievable- Ukraine rebel leader claims Flight MH17 was filled with already-dead bodies!

A pro-Russian rebel separatist in Ukraine claimed Saturday that most of the passengers on Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 were dead before the plane was shot down.
Reports from the Associated Press says rebel commander Igor Girkin said on the Russkaya Vesna website that witnesses to the crash have informed him that “a significant number of the bodies weren’t fresh” when they fell from the sky. He also claimed that many of them had been drained of blood and stank of decomposition because they had been dead for days.

Many Putin allies — including news network Russia Today — have tried to offset the blame for the deaths of all 298 passengers and crew by blaming Ukraine, but Girkin’s assertion is the first to suggest that no one was actually killed in the incident.
Preliminary investigation of the crash indicates that the jet was shot from the sky with a sophisticated surface-to-air anti-aircraft weapon. Both President Barack Obama and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power have said that it is highly unlikely that separatist rebels in eastern Ukraine could have shot down the plane without a great deal of assistance from Russia.
Girkin, who also goes by the name Strelkov, said that he has yet to confirm the assertion, but that Ukrainian officials are “capable of any baseness.
At the scene, he said, large amounts of blood serum and medications were found. Girkin may or may not have realized that the plane was carrying approximately 100 doctors, researchers and experts on HIV-AIDS who were bound for an international conference in Malaysia.
If the rebel leader’s assertion sounds like a plot twist from a particularly far-fetched spy film, that’s because it was. In an episode of the U.K TV series "Sherlock" an airplane loaded with corpses was brought down from the sky in order to convince a group of saboteurs that their encryption codes had not been cracked by the government.
Where Girkin believes the Ukrainian government obtained nearly 300 corpses is unclear, let alone how officials managed to dress the bodies and provide them with passports and travel information.

Pastor sentenced for secretly filming female parishioners in church bathroom!

A U.S based tabloid IndyStar reports that a former pastor from Lafayette- Indiana, was reportedly sentenced to four years in prison followed by three years of probation for secretly videotaping female parishioners in the women’s restroom of his church.
The 58- year-old identified as Robert Lyzenga, whose youngest victim was five years old, pleaded guilty to secretly filming five women and five girls over the course of several months in 2011 and 2012 at the Sunrise Christian Reformed Church.
According to authorities, Lyzenga hid two cameras disguised as air fresheners in the restroom which were discovered by one of the church’s parishioners. Investigators recovered video footage on the devices, located files on Lyzenga’s computers, and still images taken from the footage.
Tippecanoe County Prosecutor Pat Harrington said that, Lyzenga had edited some of the videos including video of a 16-year-old girl in “slow-motion replays showing her exposed pubic area.”
Authorities also noted that the cameras had been repositioned multiple times to film at different angles, with one mounted in the ceiling pointing down into a bathroom stall.
Lyzenga admitted to installing the cameras and pleaded guilty but told the court that he never intended to record children, although he continued to film after viewing footage of minors.
Judge Randy Williams of Tippecanoe Superior Court considered Lyzenga’s position of trust within the church, the age of the victims, and repetitive nature of the offenses when handing down Lyzenga’s seven-year sentence.
Following his incarceration, Lyzenga will be listed as a sex offender.

Ukraine accuses the pro-Russian separatists of planning to hand over the flight recorders to Moscow!

Ukraine's security service has released a recording it says features pro-Russian separatists talking about trying to hide the black boxes from flight MH17 at the request of Moscow.

The claim was made as footage emerged of at least one of the flight data recorders - which are in fact orange - being picked up by a rescue worker on Friday.

In the audio clip which contains three separate conversations, a fighter who is identified as "O.Khodakovskyi" tells a second person named as "Andriy": "I have a request for you. It is not my request.
"Our friends from high above are very much interested in the fate of the 'black boxes'.
"I mean people from Moscow.
"Please, co-operate with the Ministry of Emergency. All that you find must not come into somebody else's hands.
"Try to take everything that you find so that it doesn't get into somebody else's hands. All those people that are coming, OSCE and so on."
The conversations are alleged to have taken place on Friday, the day after the Malaysia Airlines jet was shot down over eastern Ukraine.
It was reported that Sky News is not able to verify whether the 30 second clip is genuine or who is speaking in it.
But Kiev claims it is proof of the "efforts of the Russian side to hide the evidence of its involvement in (a) terrorist act".
The pro-Russian separatists and Moscow have both denied having any part in the disaster, which killed 298 people.
But Ukraine has made repeated claims that pro-Russian rebels with Russian equipment blew the jet out of the sky before Moscow helped them cover it up by allowing the missile launcher blamed for the attack back across the border.
It has also been claimed that rebels tampered with evidence and bodies at the crash site.
The separatists have now acknowledged that they have what are presumed to be the flight recorders from the Boeing 777-200 in the eastern city of Donetsk.
"Some items, presumably the black boxes, were found, and they have been delivered to Donetsk and they are under our control," Aleksander Borodai, prime minister of the self-styled Donetsk People's Republic, told a news conference.
"There are no specialists among us who could pinpoint the look of the black boxes, but we brought to Donetsk some technical items which could be the black boxes of the airliner."
He said they would be handed over to the International Civil Aviation Organisation and also repeated that the rebels do not have the capability to shoot down a plane flying at 33,000ft.

Be yourself, not everything to everyone else’!

In life we all carry around a social mask everywhere we go wanting people to view and see us in a certain way. We keep it on for the majority of the day occasionally letting it slip……
Every human being is totally different thank goodness, life would be boring if we were all the same and as such we all do things differently. Some people make decisions in an instant others need time to process.  When we start to accept people for who they are it takes the frustration out of life. With this individual I am committed to taking the time to love and accept them just the way they are.
It’s incredibly empowering to talk through your deepest fears with another and some how by just talking things through those fears vanish.
In this instance I get to lower my social mask and be myself which is incredibly freeing.
Where in life do you lower your social mask and really be free?
Most of the time in life we are afraid of looking bad, or being seen a certain way and it stops us authentically sharing, connecting and opening up.
We want to be seen as the perfect mother, wife, girlfriend, model citizen. We want and need to be beautiful but inside feel unheard and vulnerable.
Why do we pretend to be everything to everyone else and not take the time to be honest with ourselves.
The next time someone asks you how you are I encourage you to give them an authentic answer, I am not saying dump all over them with your problems, merely really share what is important to you.
Think about the people in your life you wish to be closer too and tell them that you would like to take the time to share more with them and really connect and spend time with them.
Where in life could you lift your social mask?
The more we do it the easier it becomes and before we know it we have an army of empowered relationships around us and life just works.

Hamas human shield strategy calls for concern!

The Israel/ Gaza crisis deepens by the day, and number of casualty is on the increase, with pictorial reports from the media of women and children brutally killed or injured by Israeli requite missiles; seems like for a while, Hamas almost brought the world with the story it told.
Reasoning from a more objective footing, considering that this is a war situation, a ball game where blows are thrown at the opponent, at the same time you shield your citizens especially the young and vulnerable from the enemies responsive blows.
The Israeli camp is known over time for its offensive at same time defensive strategy, and has through its detective technique, employed a scheme that warns and protects her citizens from the enemy's missiles, which is evident in the low number of casualty recorded during crisis situations.
One would have thought the Hamas camp will employ a more citizen protective approach. But they obviously seems to have a totally different game plan, using children and the vulnerable as shields. A blueprint that is beginning to leave people around the world wondering who they are really fighting....
It is in this line of thought that Rich Lowry, National Review editor wrote:
"After the four children were reportedly killed by explosions while playing on a Gaza beach recently, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) explained that the kids had likely been misidentified as a “legitimate” Hamas target.
National Review Editor Rich Lowry asserted over the weekend that Israelis were not at fault for the deaths of the boys, because Hamas should have told them to move out of the way.
Lowry told Fox News host Tucker Carlson that the misidentification would never have happened if Hamas had not have provoked the Israelis in the first place.
The whole idea is to invite retaliatory fire, to tell your civilians not to hide or to flee the areas where the Israelis are about to hit, and then get the civilian casualty numbers up,” Lowry explained. And then use that as a propaganda tool, and hope the media will report it as if it’s Israel’s fault.”
Carlson wondered.... “The four little kids, for example who were killed right on the beach, right on the Mediterranean in Gaza, you think that’s Hama’s fault?”.
Yeah,” Lowry insisted. “It’s wouldn't be happening, there’s no reason for this conflict except for that Hamas is sending the Rockets over into Israel.”
Why don’t they tell people, ‘When Israel warns you that they’re about to hit, please flee, please go somewhere someplace safe’?” he continued.
They don’t. And you’ve had various Hamas officials over the years bragging, ‘We’re going to win because we love death more than you love life.’”
The Guardian‘s Peter Beaumont, who witnessed the death of the four children, told Haaretz that there was no “legitimate” target near them.
The building that was hit was just a shipping container next to where one of the kids’ father keeps his boat and stores fishing nets,” Beaumont said.
The kids were just playing hide and seek there. They shoot missiles (against Israel) from this neighborhood but none from that location.”
