Outcome of a recent meeting between the Executive Committee of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), and the Nigerian Government, in the capital city, Abuja, indicates that a common ground may have been reached.
According to the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, majority of NANs demands has been met, including the release of the sum of N15.4bn for payment of salary shortfalls.
Consequently, the Union is expected to call of the (Academic Union of Universities (ASUU) indefinite strike.
