Briton kidnapped in Lagos- Nigeria, Freed!

The British citizen kidnapped after his arrival into Nigeria at the Muritala Mohammed Air-Port, en-board KLM Air line from Amsterdam to Lagos on the 16th of July, 2013, at about 4:30pm as freed on Sunday the 12st of July.

It was gathered that the Black Sportage Jeep conveying theBriton from the Air Port was intercepted around Mafoluku not too far from the Air - Port and taken to a destination later discovered to be at Ago-Okota area of Lagos. 

The victim's relatives were contacted by the kidnappers, and they were advised by men of the Lagos Police force, to negotiate with them  on the randsome, while the mobile number the kidnappers used to make such calls was sent to the Network provider. After negotiation, the kidnappers allegedly agreed to a N7.5million ransome.

The contact man for the kidnappers identified as Chukwuemeka Benson (paraded below)  was arrested by a team of operatives of State Intelligence Bureau and Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), Ikeja; as he went to receive the ransome on behalf of his Boss identified as Nonye who is believed to still be at large.

According to Lagos state commissioner of Police,  Umar Manko told news men that the freed kidnap victim was taken to a hospital in Lagos to ensure that he is fully okay.
