Princess Anne on Royal Baby's Birth: "Nothing to Do With Me"

"Nothing to do with me, but it's very good news," the Princess Royal, 62, said on the birth of her grandnephew. Prince William and wife Kate Middleton welcomed their their baby boy on Monday, July 22 at 4:24 p.m. London time at St. Mary's Hospital in London.
Princess Anne is the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, and the sister of Prince Charles. She was married from 1973 to 1992 to Captain Mark Phillips, with whom she had two children, Peter Phillips and Zara Phillips. Since 1992, she has been married to Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.
Princess Anne, who is 10th in line for the throne, was the first royal since 1504 to refuse titles for her family. Wanting a low-key life, she declined an earldom for husband Phillips and lord and lady titles for her offspring, Peter and Zara.
The Olympic equestrian was also none too pleased with pregnancy. Being with child "is a boring nine months," she has said. "It's an occupational hazard of being a wife!" As it happens, her daughter Zara is expecting her first child with husband Mike Tindall in early 2014.
