Despite controversies that surrounded her marriage to Kayode Salako, the love between Foluke Daramola and her hubby seems to be waxing stronger than some expected.
As they clocked one year in marriage on 15th February, the couple felt it was not yet time to celebrate.
According to information gathered, the couple said they would rather celebrate the anniversary “together, alone and quietly.” Fortunately, February 15 was also Foluke’s birthday, so it was a double celebration for the duo.
“There was so much noise concerning our marriage; so we have decided to spend our first anniversary together. We intend to go out of town to somewhere quiet; just me and my husband. We could later celebrate it in a big way but for now, things would be quiet,” the actress said.
The actress and some of her colleagues, under the aegis of N17, held a walk against domestic violence where She told Saturday Beats that they embarked on the walk because at some point in their lives, some of the members of the group were victims of domestic violence.
“Some of our members are Yomi Fashlanso, Fathia Balogun, Bisi Ibidapo-Obe, Ronke Ojo and Muyiwa Ademola. We are a bridge between the common man, government and the private sector. At a point in our lives, we were victims of domestic violence,” she said.
