Illiterate Chinese Farmer Builds 35mLong Airplane Model As Restaurant!

An illiterate Chinese farmer living in  a small landlocked village in Henan, Wang Lanqun has built a near life-size aircraft model resembling Boeing's signature 737 jetliner with over 150,000 yuan, estimated 23,160 U.S. dollars.


Wang's family has been running a restaurant in the village, the farmer believes an "airplane restaurant" will definitely draw more clients. It the 61-year-old  a year to finish the work on the giant aircraft model that measures 35 meters high, 38 meters wide and 11.5 meters high.


There have already been strings of visitors to his unfinished "airplane diner".
