Nigeria's 'No Light, No Fuel' Situation, University Suspends Academic Activities, Asks Students To Vacate School Premises!

According to information extracted from the notice below, authorities of the University of Lagos, Akoka, (Unilag), a federal university in Lagos - Nigeria, has issued a notice suspending all academic activities in the school, and asking students to vacate the school premises until further notice.

This action according to the notice signed Thursday, April 7, 2016, was prompted by the agitation of the student body over poor electricity and water supply in the campus, and the difficulty faced by the large number of students living off-campus to attend classes as a result of the fuel crisis.
