An 18-year-old woman from Ohio, United States, might spend the next 40 years of her life in prison if convicted of charges of sexual battery, rape, kidnapping, and pandering sexually-oriented material involving a minor for allegedly broadcasting the teen’s assault brought against her by a Grand Jury.
The teenager, identified as Marina Alexeevna Lonina and the 17-year-old victim were in Raymond Boyd Gates’s home on February 27, when Gates, 29, began forcing himself upon the minor, to which Lonina allegedly used the Periscope app to post the attack online. Lonina also photographed the victim nude the night before the alleged sexual assault.
Lonina and Gates face up to 40 years in prison if convicted.
