Legendary American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and actor, Prince Rogers Nelson, popularly known as mononym Prince, is dead.
Prince died in an elevator his home in Chanhassen, Minnesota at the age of 57.
The cause of his death is at the moment unknown, however, it was reported that the Police was called to a medical emergency at his Paisley Park estate at the early hours of Thursday, April 21, where his body was discovered.
Information made available shewed that Prince was sick with the flu earlier in April and was rushed to the hospital after his plane made an emergency landing. Investigation to determine the actual cause of his death is under way.
Prince served as a major figure in popular music for over three decades.
